GyPSy Guide GPS driving tour of both Arches and Canyonlands is an excellent way to enjoy a sightseeing trip to explore the national parks. One tour that includes both parks. There are 140+ audio points that play automatically, featuring what to see, stories, tips and advice. All the benefits of a guided tour, the freedom to drive yourself. TOUR GUIDE AS YOU DRIVE AROUND ARCHES AND CANYONLANDS If you like driving yourself when you go sightseeing, GyPSy Guide™ tour apps allow you to enjoy a guided tour experience while remaining totally independent. By driving yourself, you'll be able to get from place to place faster, see more things and not be tied to anyone else's schedule. DON'T MISS OUT ON THE BEST SIGHTS AND STORIES The tour apps use your device’s location abilities to play the commentary AUTOMATICALLY. All you have to do is drive, listen and decide which places you want to stop at. Our tour guides have created an insightful and entertaining tour of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, all in one tour. PLAYS AUTOMATICALLY GyPSy Guide knows where you are and which direction you are heading, and plays commentary automatically about the things you are seeing, plus stories and tips and advice. EXPLORE LIKE A LOCAL It’s just like having a local friend to show you around. And that friend just happens to be a professional tour guide. GREAT VALUE The same information you would get on a bus tour or from a guide book, for just a fraction of the price. And you control the itinerary and schedule. WORKS OFFLINE No data, cellular or even wireless network connection needed while touring. Download over Wi-Fi before you tour. Anyone can use them with no need for roaming data – even visiting from another country. DRIVING TOUR ROUTE Arches National Park: There are more than 2000 rock arches and countless numbers of other startling rock formations in this park. Each of the suggested stops along the route provide another piece of the puzzle of this stunning natural phenomenon. 1) Park Avenue 2) Balanced Rock 3) Windows 4) Delicate Arch 5) Skyline Arch 6) Devils Garden 7) Landscape Arch Canyonlands National Park: Includes some famous arch formations like its sister Park across the valley. But there is a great variety of different features to explore in Canyonlands. The Island in the Sky portion of the Park sits on a high plateau above deep canyons below meaning there are many spectacular viewpoints. 1) Merrimac and Monitor 2) Mesa Arch 3) Grand View Point 4) Green River Overlook 5) Upheaval Dome 6) Aztec Butte You can join the tour from Moab or anywhere along the route from campgrounds and RV parks. ## This tour does not include the Needles section, which is located 60 miles to the south. NOTES Download the app on Wi-Fi from your network at home or use any free Wi-Fi network. Because the app is filled with audio commentary and maps, its larger than "normal" apps. Many phone/data networks may block the download because of size - so its important to download over a Wi-Fi network. ++ Continued use of GPS running in the background increases battery usage - we strongly recommend taking a cigarette style (DC outlet) car charger. This is much better than simply plugging into the USB port in a vehicle. ** iPad users - please note that WiFi-only iPads will not activate the commentary automatically. Any iPhone or network-capable iPad (WiFi + Cellular - whether you have a network connection or not) will work just fine. • Really enjoyable audio tour

    By Ignatius Finch
Ran across this app in a local paper while we were figuring out things to do in Moab. This was a really enjoyable audio tour and the narration is excellent. You usually get monotone narrators with audio tours, but this was very well read. The tour follows your location and is perfectly timed. The tour also includes very interesting facts about the area and local legends. I would definitely recommend using these for all national parks tours (or at least the ones that are available).
  • Family Roadtrip

This app was perfect for driving us through both Canyonlands and the Arches! We arrived in the evening to the Canyonlands. We weren’t able to get a map. This directed us right where we needed to go. It was perfect. We were on a road trip and also used the app through the Rocky Mountain National Park and the one through the Grand Canyon- South Rim. Highly recommend!!! 5 stars!
  • It likes to have a local tour guy in your car and very helpful!

    It is worth the money.
  • LOVE them!!!

This is the second tour we have used. Yellowstone and now Arches. They were both wonderful and WELL worth the money. I looked before every trip now to see if my destination will be in the library of locations.
  • Awesome tour guide

This app was spectacular! We knew exactly what to look for and where to turn with plenty of notice. The historical information was very interesting. Definitely worth the few dollars.
  • Awesome app

Tours were too expensive, terribly time limited and at the mercy of the leader’s personality style. GyPSy Guide solves all those problems with affordability, perfect timing and a delightful, vetted, well informed guide. The app led me to the right places, told me what to expect at each stop and fed me wonderful, compelling historical and geological facts. I LOVE this app and can’t wait until all the national parks are available online. I am a grandmother making the trek alone. This is the way to travel.
  • Added a lot to our trip

    By the Teichersons
Listening to the gypsy traveler gave us background that we didn’t know and wonderful stories to round out or tour. We even looked for other options for future trips. Thanks for a great product.

It was so helpful and informative for our trip to Arches and Canyonlands.
  • Great!!

I can’t believe parks don’t tell visitors about this app as we arrive. I stumbled upon this as I looked for info on the park and this was all we needed. It gave us extra tidbits that were useful and really added to our park visit. I really recommend it if you want to know what you are looking at instead of just driving along uninformed. The gps tracks you so the guide is exactly where you are. Loved it!
  • Great companion for self tour

    By kaykaysmif
We did a self guided tour put together by a tour company and augmented it with the Gypsy guide to Canyonlands and Arches. It was like having our own guide in the car as we traveled along!
