  • Terrible on android

    By CC236123
This might be a decent app for certain phones but my son has an LG and it constantly force quits. It’s a great idea and SUPER cool when it works, but the unreliability of it makes it utterly worthless. I use google family link and so far it’s been the best. It doesn’t have the most extensive functionality but it is reliable. I can always see his location and what apps he’s using and and approve whatever he tries to download. I can also shut his phone down remotely. This was a huge waste of $50. And it’s not user error. I read all the faqs and instructions on how to make it work, even contacted the company, which is hard to do because everything is via email and has a long wait time so there’s no real time assistance. It’s just not any good. I will be canceling my account and uninstalling. I gave it a chance for about 6 months and I’m giving up. I’m really disappointed because it’s a great idea in theory, just no good in practice :(
  • Very helpful!

This app is great overall, my only request would be please add the ability to set smaller time increments on the timer. Currently it’s set at 15 minutes, I’d like to see 5 minute increments. My kids get 30 minutes of daily media on school days and I would like to be able to add/remove time in 5 minute increments. For instance, “lose 5 minutes if you’re not in bed on time” Currently, I can’t manage that on the app but I think it would be helpful for parents. Also it would be great to be able to add the Xbox One as a device... Thanks Quistido for a great app!
  • New update has too many bugs

    By Kaden Kempfer
Everything was going fine until the most recent update 3 days ago. my parents haven’t changed anything and right when the newest update was released my instagram stopped working and when the vpn is off it worked.
  • If you buy this for your kid you must hate them

    By CrookedLord
I had a phone for a year and a half and my parents randomly put restrictions on my phone even though I’ve done nothing wrong. I haven’t been able to access Instagram and my parents keep trying to fix it but nothing works. They don’t want to delete the app either. It also locks my phone when I need it and says I do things that I don’t do, along with blocking makeup websites. I hate this app. No offense to Marie the customer support lady or whatever her name is. I feel bad for her that she works for them...
  • So many problems too

    By pease26
Doesn’t log accurate time, disables location apps, doesn’t update location correctly, messes with kids’ iCloud accounts. Will not renew.
  • Doesn’t Log All Activity

    By FarmVille_Fan
I am so confused why I purchased a year subscription of this service. Through the app I assign my child 2 hours of daily iOS device time. Every day my child uses up the full allotted time but the activity log only shows a fraction of where the activity was used. On average the activity log shows 20-30 minutes of activity but my child is on the device for 120 MINUTES!!! What kind of service am I paying for?
  • Got a few things to say...

So, first of all, I am a teen, 14 years old, and my parents got this app because they were worried I was watching pornography. (Which I wasn’t) Other than the fact that it blocks nearly everything I do on the internet, (Except for school related things) it is so awful of an app anyway! It is always saying “Your son spent 8 hours 19 minutes on facebook today” when I don’t have facebook, or any interest in going on it. Just Yesterday, I was doing homework until like 12am like a normal 9th grader was. Then my mom yells me into the room, and I ask what’s wrong because I really needed to get back to work. She says, “You haven’t been doing work, you’ve been playing Roblox and watching Hulu!” “You can look at my search history mom! I have not ever watched Hulu, we have a Netflix subscription. And also, I was not playing Roblox, that’s some dumb game I’ve never touched that the sevies all play!” “I guess Ill just have to take your word for it then.” This is a true story and I’m sure this exact situation has happened to a ton of other people as well. Please, do not buy this app for your kid. It’s a total rip off and never works! Thank you for your time.
  • No good for iPhone!

    By Msar1975
I got charged a premium subscription but this app is no good on the iphone. It does not monitor text messages and i couldn't see details of messages on other apps either. What's the point? May be good for Android devices but i would definitely recommend something else for IPhone.

  • So glitchy

    By Boykie
This is an extremely overpriced app considering that it is so buggy. It completely over reports my child’s screen time, even showing time spent on Facebook, Viber, and Roblox. The thing is that he doesn’t even have these apps on his phone. The customer support is email only, responses are slow, and answers are scripted and unhelpful. The standard response is to put an unlock code on the phone so that the phone isn’t accidentally turned on when not in use. Duh! Obviously my child’s phone has an unlock code, especially as I’ve told them multiple times. This app should be no more than $5.
