  • Subscription cost? What a joke

This calendar is absolutely beautiful, no doubt about it. While sometimes they sacrifice function for esthetica little to much, it's a lovely calendar. HOWEVER, zero of the features justify an ongoing subscription fee. I could see them charging $1.99-4.99 as a one time app purchase but this is ridiculous. The calendar field in the app store is one of the most competitive and robust, there are thousands of fantastic options out there that provide an equal or better experience for free (or a small one time charge). I was so excited to see moleskin had a calendar app because they are there only journals I ever buy. Sad they opted to approach app development in this way.
  • ADDITIONAL APP (actions)

I really do not like how you guys created another application just for actions. Why not just merge both apps into 1 app to provide multiple functions. There is no need to have two separate apps when you guys can work together to join the apps and make the app have all the same functions.
  • Really helps me track what I need to get done

This is app is really awesome and exactly what I needed and I love how it sync with the actions app because I utilize both. I’ve been trying to find something that could help me time manage but once I got the hang of everything this app was capable of (not to mention you can customize it so themes can kinds fit your mood I guess you can say or the colors you like to see) I realized I just needed something to help me visually prioritize events and tasks that needed to get done. You can sync other calendars that you use or may share with others so the events pop up on your calendar in the specific color you designated. You can view multiple types of calendars in a month while viewing each calendar either separately or altogether. It also adds a “heat system” in which busy days gradually are shaded darker with more events or tasks scheduled. If you sync additional calendars, you can choose what exactly from those calendars you want to appear on your Timepage calendar. When adding events you can of course schedule a time or time range and choose which calendar the event belongs to; however, you can also add the location to the event so that when you view the event, you can see how long it will take to get there and even what time you should anticipate leaving. You can schedule daily briefings which are very helpful and also provide weather reports. And you can also set up in preferences whether or not you want to be notified or reminded about an event or if you should be leaving pretty soon. Needless to say, I pretty much use it as a personal assistant.

I have used this calendar app since it first came out and have loved every aspect of it. It definitely beats all the other calendar apps out there. Sadly, I now have to give it a one star rating and move on to a different calendar app because they are insisting on making everyone setup a cloud based account to back up all your data. Since this app pulls all of its data from a cloud based account you already have setup in your Apple calendar this makes absolutely no sense. If I had an option where I could say no once (it will ask you to setup an account every time you open the app) and move on it would definitely be a 5 Star app. But their insistence on making all users store all calendar data in Moleskines cloud server when it is already stored in your email provides cloud service is worrisome and somewhat suspicious to me. Therefore the one star on an app that would otherwise be one of the best on the App Store.
  • Incredibly slow

I used to love this app, but over time it becomes incredibly slow, even on an iPad Pro. It hangs when you open it, the screen becomes unresponsive when you try to open a day or create an event, and you’ll need to force-quit the app often. I don’t know what exactly happened, but the longer you use it, the slower it gets.

  • Stunning Design That Works

Not only is this calendar app gorgeous, but it works and functions at near perfection. I’m pretty sure I’ve purchased just about every other calendar app known to man, and this one definitely takes the cake. Fairly certain just about anybody could learn and operate the interface. As a graphic designer I’m literally in love with the simplicity, beauty and functionality of the design and UI.

Have so enjoyed this moleskine app for the last 2 years. It’s very user friendly and the whole vibe is serene. I like the way the calendars and times slide rather than have a counter. You can also have multiple calendars. Highly recommend!

I’m paying for the subscription and I have NOOOOOOO regrets!!!!! If y’all can incorporate an email section, that’d be amazing but either way this app is perfect!!!
  • Has Potential..... Not quite there yet!

Okay, I am giving this app 3⭐️’s because it has potential to be great, but it’s not quite there yet. One of my issues with the app is the membership portion. I have a complimentary membership with Timepage and I’m kind of bummed that it doesn’t cross over to this app as well, I mean, it only makes sense, right? Okay so my other issue(s) with the app is it is not very user friendly. Another thing I would this app had was, instead of being connected to the stock calendar app, it should be connected to the stock reminder app. Lastly, the notifications part of the app is not very useful. Me being someone who likes silent (vibrating) notifications, this app only vibrates once when the task is due, I wish it had a nagging feature or like, more of a vibration when my tasks/reminders are due. What I do love about the app is the graphics and designs of the app, it is very beautifully made.
