    I love Garden Compass it’s a great app. But I’m having a hard time canceling my subscription it’s winter and there’s no plants to be identified.

    I took a picture of my diseased plant to see if they could identify the disease for me. Well, I waited over a week and still no response from their “experts”... they also haven’t given any indication of how long the process takes. Too late! I will look elsewhere. Bad app.

    Good luck figuring out how to run this thing. Go to settings > photo library > allow acesss > but ir’s greyed out no chance to allow. After an hour and numerous photos like a dog chasing it’s shadow this thing is futile. Better things to do than mess with chessy unfriendly crappy app.

    Received an answer to my picture and narrative question within four hours of pressing the “Submit” button. Very professional with scientific and familiar name of the plant. Restarting an extensive home garden and will really look into full paid subscription with this wonderful Customer Service!
  • Not worth money, plus impossible to cancel

    If I could give it 0 stars I would. It’s not worth the money they charge and what’s even more frustrating is that they make it impossible for the user to find how to cancel their subscription. Still haven’t figured it out. I guess I’ll have to call Apple.

    I have started a greenhouse and this means people give me plants now as gifts. Unfortunately they are rarely tagged and I have no idea what it is, or how to take care of it! I snap a picture and someone always comes and explains what I need to do to take care of my plant! The most helpful thing. I have spent hours searching on google trying to find the right plant, but it always is frustrating. These people make it easy!

    I wanted to love this app. I’m a first time gardener. I was so excited. I even got the premium subscription. I sent in three pictures to identify pests & 2 weeks later still no response. I cancelled the premium subscription.

    Sent multiple pictures for a plant id a week ago, no response. Sent follow up; no response. I don’t have time for this; going to my local nursery. Need to know if plant or weed - working on restoring an old garden. Was excited, would have subscribed if it worked.

    My sister, Lynda, was a master gardener and when she passed away, I inherited many of her plants, most of which I had no clue as to what they were. This app helped me to identify my favorite ones and I am so grateful to know their names & how to care for them. Thank you Garden Compass! Beverly

    It’s been good before but I submitted a pic of a troubled plant a month ago at least and still haven’t heard back. Also not easy to find the mechanisms to submit questions on the website, every time I have to hunt around for it.
