I’ve been a long-time user of the official reddit app, but recently decided to give something else a shot that would best work on my phone/iPad. After reading reviews, I came across Apollo and gave it a go. There’s a lot to like about this app. The pure black dark mode is fantastic. The layout is very crisp and clean. I love that you can configure the location of the voting arrows, thumbnails, etc. The amount of customization to make the app (including the icon) your own is really great. The main thing I really wish I could adjust is the size of the thumbnails in compact mode. I love compact mode for scrolling through my feed, but it would be great if the thumbnails were just slightly larger. Also, it’s not quite as user friendly as the official reddit app, when it comes to adding multiple accounts. It took a bit of doing to add more than one account, but I figured it out. One final mild gripe... It would be great to have a more readily accessible “new post” feature like the official app has. All in all, the app is great. I’m sure I will adjust to the minor nuances of switching over to a new app. If the developer decides my suggestions are worth addressing, all the better!

Great aftermarket app for reddit. Reddit’s one app has always been lacking but do have all the others until now. The support and communication from the app creator toward the users is something any developer should aspire to.

How is this app going to be so great yet won’t allow you to submit posts without paying $3? Absolutely ridiculous and you lost a user.

This is the best Reddit client out of any I have ever tried on ANY platform. It blows the official client out of the water. Sometimes it has its quirks but the devs are quick to patch and are communicate with the community, also very transparent with development. 1000% recommend. Updoot every time.
