  • Definitions Do Not Appear

    By West Point '99
The app returns a blank screen rather than any definition. As so many others have previously commented, the app does not provide the definition of the queried word.
  • Disappointing

    By xyz4416
It seems that most days, the word of the day is a fairly common, a word that I already know. Other days, the word of the day is a place or the name for an inhabitant of a place. I got the app to improve my vocabulary, not my knowledge of geography.

    All should have it.
  • Excellent resource

Excellent resource to have offline on the phone. I wish the audio pronunciations were of better quality. I hope they continue to improve this application.
  • Dependable college dictionary

    By MirdaRMc
I like the feature that introduces a word for the day. A number of them are not part of standard usage, but nonetheless a welcome prod for those of us who don’t read widely enough.
  • oxford Dictionary of English

A terrible edition - the “free” version is worthless. Use any old print dictionary instead.....
  • Too many ads!!!

    By alijan22
It had too many ads ! Everythin was fine with it except the ads
  • Pure, to the Point

    By Human Rights
This app can be much better. It often does not recognize legitimate words. And I cannot get the audio pronunciations, even though I have tried to get them many times.
  • Quick way to lose $20

    By Pablikus
I did an all update and now I lost my subscription; I am being asked to pay $20 again. Wrote to the developer and nothing. Stick to the free version
