Takes your money and will not let you listen to any books. They respond to customer inquiries with vague and generic responses. Beware of this company!

Purchased this app since it said “UNLIMITED BOOKS” after listening to a few books as I work, I went to start my next book and it has a 28 day counter, tried another I had on my list and it had a 17 day count down and the same for the already download books in my library. What is that all about?? So obviously unlimited is only good for what they are willing to allow???? I am so annoyed with the change and how they decided to “Try something new!” The only good thing about this app is that they are paid through Apple so I don’t have to do a million things to not get charged again to listen to crap I don’t want to.🙁👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻
  • Big disappointment!

I signed up for this believing I was really going to be able to listen to unlimited audiobooks. After listening to 2 books suddenly everything I try to listen to said it won’t be available for 22 days. Then after a few days I checked again and it was still 22 days! This morning ( several days later) it said 14 days to listen and a few minutes ago those same books won’t be available for 15 days. This is ridiculous!

I used to really enjoy this app. I’m not sure what happened to the selection, but it is really lacking. It isn’t just new material, but older as well. I wish would have looked deeper in advance so I wouldn’t have subscribed for another month. :(
  • No longer unlimited?

Now there's a date meter for when I can access my "next book" - close to 20+ days?? - even though it still says unlimited service? At least let the user know somehow, and offer diff pricing or something. Really poor experience. I really enjoyed the app before this change.
  • Not unlimited.

I subscribed to this app and absolutely loved it. I listened to audiobooks all the time and then randomly, it started telling me that my next available audiobook wasnt for six days. Seven days later, I got online to check so that I could listen to another book and it’s still telling me I have two days left. I read the terms and conditions and it still says that I can listen to as many audiobooks as I want and that there’s no limit. So… Either someone needs to fix this glitch or this app is phony and I will be canceling my subscription.

I know you are a grown say and it takes time to do so but there needs to be more selections. Rich dad poor dad by Robert KiaSaki, Principles by Ray Dalio, I mean there are so many offers out there that need to be on this platform. Audio is the king pin and everyone else is trying to get A piece of the action. Your app has a lot of potential please continue to update and move forward. I appreciate all your hard work.

I believe this app is going through some growing pains. I had multiple books in my library and the next day they were gone. No warning, just available one day and gone the next. Including the third book in a four book series, the other books in the series are still available but it the third one. I wish there was a warning about book no longer being available, especially if they are in my library.

I subscribed to this service after seeing an instagram add that said “it’s like Netflix for audiobooks”. After Audible restricted my returns (and I have to call to return them, which is lame) on audiobooks because I often find books boring and want to return them and find something else, I was on the hunt for something new. I subscribed to a month of Hibooks. The first couple of weeks were great. I tried several books until I found one I liked. After finishing one book, I searched for a new book. Every single book I wanted to listen to had a countdown clock saying I had to wait 29 days to listen to that book. My membership renewed in less than a week. I searched on twitter to see if others had a similar issue. Turns out lots of other people had the same problem but had different countdown clocks. I reached out to hibooks and was told they are rotating their library and those books would not be available until a later day. What makes no sense is why everyone has a different countdown clock. It feels like I got throttled and they don’t actually have unlimited selections of books. It is still a good deal, I think I started 5 or so books until I got “throttled”. If that doesn’t bother you, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this subscription! It bothered me, so I canceled my subscription.
