  • Great in theory - bad in reality

Carrying “gentle wake up too far = making yoga instructions nearly inaudible.
  • Not working

    By Sue in MA
I go to open the app and the screen is black and I get bumped out. What is wrong?
  • Muffles volume on other apps

    By Izzmosis
I really like this app, but I like to listen to sleep podcasts while falling asleep and if the yoga wake up app is open it muffles the volume of any other app that is open. This is annoying and means I can’t use the app on nights I’m having trouble sleeping.
  • Vance

Vance Vlasek is a joy to wake up to in the morning!
  • Just what I needed

    By mara_dandelion
Straightforward and easy way to get that instant calm and relaxed atmosphere when needed. It can use some improvements like a dark color palette theme for night time use and a selection of cooler music with the recordings for those of us that aren’t too hippy on the hippy.
  • Love this app but it could use some lovin

    By Cheeky piña
I absolutely love this app, and use it daily! I just wish it operated better. It’s not very reliable when it comes to setting alarms and the screen sometimes turns blank, or the page freezes and I need to quit the app to get it to work again. The concept is incredible, but the app could use some tweaking and upgrading.
  • Happy long time user

    By rpphoto
This is a great way to wake each day, and one of the only apps I use every day. They add enough new content on a regular basis to keep things interesting, and my favorites are always there. I usually wake in a convoluted foggy and worried mood, but this app snaps me out of it. Yoga Wakeup makes a fantastic prelude to my morning meditation to stir my brain and body into a more lucid state. Helps make a perfect start for your day, and sometimes I listen later in the day for a tune-up. It’s also a great leaning tool to learn some Yoga basics.
  • Didn’t work at all

    By gjstclair
I set several alarms and they never went off. It took forever to download the session I selected and then the alarm didn’t go off. So I decided to “listen now” and the button didn’t even work then.
  • They billed me even though I didn't subscribe, and they don't respond to requests for help.

I tried the free trial for a day before realizing that this app was not quite what I was looking for. I canceled immediately, and my settings tab reflect that I'm using (or not using) the free version. I was surprised, therefore, to find a "recurring monthly charge" on my bank statement. Sure enough, Yoga Studio had billed me for a month, despite canceling duting the "free" trial. And here's the kicker: I don't even have access to subscription-only material -- only the free stuff! I've tried to contact them, and received no response. Next step, a complaint to iTunes and Mastercard.
  • I’m awake! And out of bed.

    By Jaie
I love this app! For years I have trouble feeling completely awake in the mornings and actually getting out of bed. Lately I have noticed increased body pain when I wake up as well. This app is really, really helping. My mood is a lot better too. A gentle alarm, followed by a soothing, calm voice and a gentle yoga practice. There have been a few times I’ve been a little confused, but not too badly. We will see how well I do with this now that it’s turning colder and the temperature outside of the covers isn’t as comfy. I’m pretty sure yoga under the blankets is impossible!
