  • Terrible

    1. Can only reach customer service via online chat. When you call they just tell you there is nothing they can do. I’ve requested SEVERAL times to speak to a manager on the phone and the online sustainer service agent schedules a call but have never received a call back. 2. DVR only works less than 50% of the time. When it does work it will turn off halfway through the program and start over. 3. Literally every time I turn the TV on I need to delete and reload the app. Get a message saying “no internet connection” even though all other apps work properly. 4. The Guide feature only works about 60% of the time. 5. In the menus section I’m constantly getting messages like “oops something went wrong” or “that was unusual”. Looks like I made a mistake by “cutting the cord”. It’s really too bad. I loved having directv when I had the satellite but this app is absolutely terrible. Don’t waste your money.

    This app is terrible, and glitchy. It deserves a -5 stars. The casting feature for this app is essentially pointless half of the time.

    I have having a hard time logging in on both my phone and Apple TV. This is very frustrating as I pain for a subscription every month.

    Was initially skeptical of even trying this app due to the many poor review I am glad I did. It has worked seamlessly for me, though I do agree it could use better organization. Still as far as watching my favorite HBO series and the movies they offer I have had no problems

    Title says it all. The only good thing is the actual content, but literally everything else about the app and website is not intuitive at all. Xbox One version is excellent though. But of course not everyone has that.

    In the grand scheme of life, this is very much a first world problem, however, don't advertise that you can watch big premiers as they premier, if that isn't the case. #HardKnocks

  • Slow and constantly freezes

    The app is slow and constantly freezes when other apps like Netflix are working just fine. The watchlist is a joke and the app is terrible at keeping track of what show I’m watching, what episode and how far I am into an episode. I’m always having to search for the show I was in the middle of watching when I go back into the app even if it’s only been a couple of minutes. After it freezes and I have to close it and go back in it never goes back to the right spot. I wish there was another option to stream my HBO shows on my phone or iPad. Love HBO, hate the app.
