I have found this app to be extremely helpful in my personal study of the word of God. The free material makes it well worth the purchase. I would encourage any Bible student to give this a hard look. It will be a useful aid in your study as well.

I am very happy to finally see this program for Mac. It has always been an excellent piece of software and is well worth the 10 bucks. It works well so far with no major issues and is reliable.

I have been using this app for a few weeks now. Easy to use and most features are intuitive. Fox’s Book Of Martyrs is an interesting read as one of the many free reference books included. I wish there was a way to bookmark your place in them. Otherwise, enjoy!

I have used this bible since it first came out and it is bar none the best bible software on market. I have several of the books and other items and it really helps for writing sermons and having bible studies. Well done.

Exellant program, have used many “E Bibles and this is one of the best, powerful and yet easy to use. More modules can be added than any other I have found. Been using this program for about 4 years now and I still have yet to find a limit to it’s expandability.

I have used Esword for many years on PC with lots of extra modules installed. The latter installed without flaw on the Mac app. However, what is an amazing free application on Windows has become a rather expensive and poor app on the Mac, but that's not the whole story. Esword has a lot of available resources and all old purchases can be downloaded again for free. This means you keep your comprehensive library. The user-interface is rather clunky and distracting, and should not have aimed to be so similar in layout to the Windows version in my opinion, but it works. Forget comfortable reading as only limited light and font adjustments are available. Other free applications do better in this area. Esword is good for 'technical' study, cross-references, and many other tasks, but achieve all these tasks in a rather awkward way. But one can get used to that too. In conclusion, it is not a too bad job, but in comparison to similarly priced and even free applications it does fall short. Lastly, there are no ads, no pesky messages to sell you anything at all, and this somewhat offsets the bad points too.

Love using e-sword, as a study tool. Easy links to resources like commentaries and dictionaries make it outstanding. I do find however, if I am looking to just read the word and meditate on it, You Version is better. If there were a way to run off all the options pains, etc and just have a reading view, it would be a 5 star app. I still use it as my number one study app and am thankful to the developer(s) who gave us this great app.

I am very appreciative of having access to e-sword. I bought a sw for my windows system , but recently moved over to Mac. If there is an ability to port over any of the files from windows to Mac to sure would be neat. I am still learning e-sword so that capability might be there and I have not found it. Thank you for providing e-sword

It has everything in one place, with commentary, your own commentary generation, Biblical dictionary, and Strong’s Greek Dictionary! Amazing!
