  • Unfortunate Money Grab

    By jmfalcon1
This game was a blast. If you wanted to spend money to buy extra coins, you could, then the crystal money grab began. Aside from that, it’s really cool, but for some reason it chews through your battery like Pokémon Go!
  • Banned for no reason

    By Oracle343gspark
I was banned without any reason or warning after spending hundreds of dollars on this app. When asked about it, Topps says they won’t discuss it or revoke my ban. This app is horrible and so is Topps!
  • October 2018 Update Made App Worse

    By krid1727
A good design was replaced with a busy, more complicated interface. The ticker is annoying and the loading animation is infuriating. The changes might have been bearable if they hadn’t slowed the whole app down while upping the battery consumption. The update dropped the app from 3 to 2 stars. I will say that the favorite cards option is a nice addition, but I’d give it up for less onscreen movement and lower power consumption.
  • Terrible Business & App

    By Curtis R. Shideler
EDIT: New app design is terrible, especially for anyone using an iPhone X or Xs. The menus at the bottom are under the touch bar and can often cause you to accidentally close the app. Makes it even less appealing to even bother with the app anymore. I've been with the app since it was released. Prices have gone WAY up, IAP is almost a necessity to collect any set. And I've spent Millions of credits on 75k packs and got nothing when the odds are 1:5 or 1:4. TOPPS OFTEN MISLEADS AND LIES IN TRANSMISSIONS THAT EXPLAIN CARDS RELEASES, THEN AFTER WE'VE SPENT A LOT ON PACKS TRYING TO GET SOMETHING, THEY CHANGE THEIR WORDING AND TELL US THOSE CARDS AREN'T RELEASED. THEN THEY DO NOT REFUND US THE CREDITS THAT WE'VE SPENT. TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. I'm considering seeking a BBB dispute.

You broke it with the update. Can’t search or type anything
  • Stay away

I have been a veteran on this app since day 1, was so excited to be able to digitally collect the cards I grew up with I mean who doesn’t love Star Wars? But as the app grew and grew and management changed it really seemed as though the dark side took over and the empire is currently running it. I understand a business needs to make money but when the app is only pay to play and you’re paying for guaranteed cards at a price of 20 dollars each for a set of 15 inserts and no award can really be a giant disappointment and that’s exactly what this app has become, a giant disappointment. You also most likely will not get your awards on time and or even get the right cards that you paid for, sometimes the cards aren’t even in the packs when you try and pull them. The community is the most toxic you’ll ever encounter, if you’re a female like me stay far away because the app is filled with the most misogynistic men you wouldn’t believe, they’ll tell you Star Wars isn’t for girls and that you belong in the kitchen. You’re opinion is belittled and you will be attacked for it. I have gotten a strike for my image on the app but when a man posts a half naked woman topps ignores it. If you contact customer service they ignore you unless you have screen shots and even then they say we cannot discuss this issue with you. They will send you the same automated message over and over. They claim they’re making changes for the better but they aren’t and they never will. It’s only getting worse and worse. Please heed my words, delete the app or don’t even download. You will save your time, money, and sanity.
  • Bumping up rating

    By 33tucker33
I’m changing my rating to 4/5. There’s a lot of variety being offered right now for all price levels from free credits to those who spend $100’s. I’ve purchased some daily deals myself the past couple weeks. Honestly my only complaint is that Fan Frenzy- hate to sound like a broken record but all you need to do is have the $5 price point offer a little more than the daily deal and put the $100 at at least 25,000 crystals. The crystals are an arbitrary currency created for in app spending. The pack odds can give and take. Extra crystals so people can pull an extra pack or two shouldn’t be a big deal. Overall I must say Topps has listened to the community of late in a variety of ways so ty. Fan frenzy 4.99 = 1,225 crystals Daily deal 4.99= 1,200 crystals Beyond insulting plus reinforced why I deleted the app. Only downloaded again so I could look at the cards I payed for with my hard earned cash. Officially deleted app after 1 full year. Too expensive just to chase one full set. Not saying I can’t afford to- just can’t justify the cost as per my weekly budget for jpegs. Not fun. Too much to mention. Don’t even get me started on odds with crystals (money). I fully understand the coin flip analogy on odds. When it takes 11 cracks on a 1:5 at 225 crystals a pack- I can’t justify the cost. Or that time it took 35 cracks on a 1:15 at 95 crystals- I’m done.
  • It went way downhill

    By intleck
I started back in 2015 with this game. It was fun collecting cards and doing trades and hunting for the elusive low count card. Then some greedy suit came up with the idea for gems. While they give you 25000 credits a day, they have become almost useless as everything is bought with gems. To get gems, you have to pay. I have deleted the game. Every now and then, I’ll upload it back to see if any good changes have come. So far, not so good. I always end up deleting it after a day or two. It used to be fun, now it acts as if you are an ATM.
  • The community is falling to pieces.

    By jboyle0995
There are TOO many times where any sort of intriguing/ unique/ fun cards are locked behind money which is causing more and more of the players to leave. You could easily place variants of those types of cards that are both available via crystals or credits to solve this issue. & if @TOPPE would release series frequently. The players who want everything would still HAVE to spend their money to get everything, but if you lock everything worth you being on the app for behind a paywall then you are losing many of your players. Less player/ Less people talking about the app = less chance of making money. With more of a healthy balance like I’ve stated above for ppl who want to spend all of their money digitally & those who want to have fun in a competitive free to play trading game, I feel this app would thrive! & make @TOPPS even more money. When a game is based on trading and there are so few ppl to trade with it gets quite boring...
  • Great content, truly awful software

    By Zeph
Slow servers, crashy app. A really miserable user experience just barely made bearable by the contents. If you’re wondering why Apple still bothers to allow apps to be force quit in iOS, this is it.
