  • App is useless

This app recently changed for the worse. I paid $7.00 when my daughter was a month old (now she’s 9 months) and the app was working very well. Now I found out that there were changes done and I couldn’t get my phone to pair with my iPod. Finally after 7-12 tries I finally got my phone and iPod paired and both kept saying monitoring but I was outside the baby’s door and she started screaming but my phone didn’t give me any notification that she was awake or anything. I downloaded the Annie pro but I have to pay another $4.00 just to get the same app I had on the old Annie app before they changed it. Very frustrating and scary knowing that something could happen to my baby and I wouldn’t know anything. Completely worthless and a waste of money.

I bought this app a couple months ago in 9.99$ and it was ok till the last update now I should pay every week, months and years to get their services. I sent email and told them my problem but they didn’t answer.
  • Used to work great, recent overhaul trashed it

    By Apple user since 2002
I got this app to monitor my baby downstairs. Paid a few dollars for the local monitoring and it worked great sign in on my phone and wife’s phone once each and stayed signed in. One touch connect and we’re in business. Good sound sensitivity, and in the rare event that there was a connection interruption it would play sounds to let me know that I’m no longer listening to the silence of my soundly sleeping baby. For some reason there was an app update that was a complete UI and functionality overhaul, and now this app is unusable. Now I have to sign in every single time on both phones, then I have to pull up a magic number on one phone and enter it in the other phone just to get it connected. Every time! Even worse, if the connection is interrupted, IT GIVES YOU NO AUDIBLE INDICATION WHATSOEVER. I hadn’t heard anything in a while so I glanced at the phone and it simply says “reconnecting”. So I run downstairs and my baby is screaming her head off for god knows how long because the app didn’t tell me that it was a total failure. I deleted the app immediately. DO NOT USE THIS APP. THERE ARE MANY OTHER ALTERNATIVES THAT WILL ACTUALLY WORK.
  • Not backwards compatible!?!

    By juygnbhu
You broke compatibility with the older version that I had installed on my iPhone 4. When I went to install your new version on the iPhone 4, I’m told it’s incompatible!!! Where can I download the previous version? The new version is useless to me.
  • Terrible

    By Pamdc83
Terrible app. Only works over WiFi (half the time) even though before the update it claimed it also worked on LTE. They recently ran an update and it said we had to pay again for a membership that was supposedly lifetime. Don’t bother wasting the money. There’s many more reliable apps out there.
  • Worst “upgrade” ever!

    By dasbinich
Read your comments! No one likes your “new app”, you just reply with the same message to everyone. This”new version” has nothing to offer, stop saying that it was for security reasons and/or new technology, the last version worked fine and EVERYONE LOVED IT! Message to people looking for a baby monitor: Annie WAS a great app, don’t waste your money on this one.
  • Don’t waste your money - downgraded to free after paying for pro

    By seraphie11
I originally purchased the app back when it was $6.99 and was guaranteed the “lifetime account”. It was great and served my needs to monitor my twins with wonderful features. They recently updated the app (Feb 2019) and took the paid-version features away, reduced this app back down to “free” version, and released a new “pro” version that costs $3.99. Annie is now forcing me to pay another $3.99 in order to get back the EXACT same looks and features I originally paid for when I first downloaded the app. I am not talking about using the app for cellular data, as that is a legitimate payment plan. I used it for Wifi only and they still would force me to pay for another app. Don’t buy this app. Go to another baby monitor app developer to spend the same money. This developer will probably do the same thing in the future and release a new version and force you to spend money again.
  • Dislike New Version

    By dkaof
Do not like the newest update (2/14/19). I liked on old version how when you open the app you decided which function the device you’re on will do (be the child or the parent). Also liked how you used to be able to mute or talk or turn off the video. Now you have to watch the video and have to listen. You got rid of too many things. ☹️☹️ also annoying I have to log in every-time.
  • Serious Disappointment

    By AllieMD7
I bought the full version of this app three years ago to monitor my first child. The app was buggy then, but worked relatively well for the year I used it. I recently welcomed my second child and began using the app again. It seemed that many of the bugs from three years ago had been resolved... until the most recent update. For two weeks I couldn’t log into the app. It didn’t recognize my credentials and threw an error when I tapped the password reset link. Today I was finally able to reset my password only to find that I get 30 minutes free monitoring before I have to re-pay for the app. 🤦‍♀️😠 Additionally, when I close the app and reopen it, I have to re log in. Customer supper has been virtually nonexistent. Users have been instructed to reach out to customer support with the assurance that issues will be “resolved in moments.” I sent an email about my initial login problems got a very generic canned response with useless troubleshooting tips, including the direction to try deleting and reinstalling the app. Currently, this app is unreliable and utterly useless as is their customer support.
