Is it possible to add maybe a time signature adapter to this app? Its easy to write in 4/4, 2/4, 6/8, and 12/8 but it would be nice to customize phrases to, say, 5/8 or something of that nature

I don't know much about music theory or anything like that. I'm just a very borderline intermediate guitarist and love making music! I use this app way too much it uses about 40% of my battery everyday because I just can't put it down. I've made originals, covers, remixes, everything, and it all sounds great. I highly reccomend it if you're a beginner or even a pro, because it is wonderful.

This is EXACTLY the kind of app I was looking for, and I’m thrilled I found it. Medly has all the power that your note roll in your favorite DAW does, but with none of the extra visual noise - the interface is gorgeously simple. It even undersells itself at first; the demos make little use of the automation feature, which allows you to dynamically modify effects like volume, pitch, and reverb on a note by note basis. I’ll include my personal grievances below, but I refuse to give this great app less than five stars. The developers clearly care about creating a quality product. - The only drums in the default instrument pack are basically non-viable. Too high pitched and tinny for a good drum sound. I would honestly prefer synthesized drums from some old console chip. Luckily it sounds like there are better drums in the instrument packs. - No support for VST instruments. I haven’t purchased the ability to do imports yet, but based on the listed supported file types, this is a no-go. Understandable, but creating a proper full instrument from recordings alone is a complete nightmare. It would be a massive boon to have some kind of digital synthesizer support. - No undo button?!

I’ve had Medly for almost a year now and I love it so much. Do you guys plan on releasing more sound packs?

I love the app it’s so fun, but I find myself mad when I make a cool beat but it ends up being 3 bars instead of 4 or 2 so then I can’t make the beat. I would love it there was an option for 3 bars. But over all this is the best music app out there!

Hello! I tried to export a song and my app crashed. Every time except the first. Now that song won’t even run. Please fix this issue.

This is the best music app I have ever experienced using. I’ve made my songs here so easily, it didn’t feel like I was a complete idiot. This is simply amazing. I just have a few suggestions. Try adding controlled auto tune for recording, especially the vocals. That would really help a lot. And try to have live recording which goes on continuously throughout multiple slides.

Now, I am a Music Producer myself, and love getting a chance to test out mobile Music Production Software. I liked the synths, though they sounded a little low quality, this is basically the best you can get for a mobile DAW (Music Producing Software). I found that it looked pretty good, until I looked at the sample songs. Some of these songs were DEFINITELY sampled from other songs, and the names of the two songs are always alike. For example, a song that sounds just like Tobu - Sunburst is called Sunset, with the notes being exactly the same besides one chord. Now, I know what you’re thinking, “They have a professional who works to make these melodies, they won’t take it from other songs.”, which I want to believe, but there is just no coincidence here, I don’t want to sound like I am calling this software bad, it actually works really well for mobile, I am just angry about this, and even if it is a coincidence, the melodies are still just so similar to the point to where it’s basically a copy anyways, so there would be no point to keep it as a demo when you have others. But I would like to mention that if you are interested in music production, and wanna start simply, Medly would be a nice place to start. I have to admit that the set up is a lot better than basically every other free DAW. To add on, its pretty easy to learn, and can do a lot. Dear Medly Developers, Good job on the synths and over all lay out, I think this is really going to turn people to love Music Production, and maybe start them on a direction towards it. The reason I give you only four stars is for the demo songs sounding like some others songs, which to be honest, only like two were, but I just felt I had to bring it up, as it seemed like a big deal to me. Anyways, I’m going to wrap this up saying hats off to the developers, you guys did a fine job on Medly, and I hope that it can become the #1 Mobile DAW. Thank you for your time.
