Yes I track my kid but the app isn’t working and to change anything I need to dig though my main app before I can change anything. I pay for it and it's not easy to do anything

I saw many comments about the app not showing the family members to manage. After walking through a trouble ticket with Verizon tech and IT support I found out how to fix this. Log into your Verizon account from a computer, not the mobile app. Select from menu drop down My Plans and Sevices, then click on family safeguards and controls. The screen that opens up lists all lines in your account and you have a drop down that allows you to assign them as child or not assigned. After I selected child for my kids’ lines, they showed up under Smart family both on the app and in my account log in. Hope this helps. I am about to tell the tech service guy what I did....cause he is stumped too.

While the app allows time of day restrictions, it does not allow usage time restrictions per platform. Easy enough to configure, yet sadly overlooked. A bit antiquated as most teens are not calling/texting. They are using social media apps to connect. Let me know when you expand to include more usable controls.
  • Terrible app

Despite the settings you make, the app restricts many functions like downloads and updates of program you allow the kids to use. Also easily defeated by 3rd party VPM apps. Useless.

I just got the app but I put my number in to set it up and it’s not allowing me to change the number to my son’s. There should be a way to chose the number we would like to control. I guess I’ll post another review if I ever get the number changed.

Today I really need to locate my sons phone and today no matter what I do, the app keeps saying”sign in error”. Grrrrr!

I wish I could review the actual app but after having spent 30 minutes going in circles to try and register my account and set the up the app, I’ve given up. It keeps sending me back to register my device over and over and keeps freezing up. This is the worst app I have ever tried to use. Verizon, I expect much better.
