  • No desktop app?

    By Soundingon
Needs a desktop app so I can listen to music from my computer. I listen to a lot of music from home.

I signed up for the free trial to give it a go and loved the service itself yet I wasn’t planning on giving it a go just yet so I cancelled through my settings on my phone by going into subscriptions. I wasn’t aware of the fact that Tidal had stored my payment information and would charge me this month for a service I didn’t knowingly ask for. When I made their support team aware of this they basically said “It’s your own fault” and refused to refund me. I’m extremely disappointed with this, especially because it’s tied to Beyoncé who I love and respect. I truly wish their support becomes better for issues like this because its problematic to charge people without them knowing. Apparently from what I’ve read in other reviews other people have also claimed this problem. I am having to contact my BANK over several charges over the last few months I was finally made aware of. Tidal has taken about $40 of my money without me knowing. This is absolutely unacceptable all around.
  • Some bugs all the time

    By fqimmy
Now playing is not actually the song I am playing Cellular loading is really slow and unstable
  • Obnoxious tutorials

    By Reed101
You didn't need an obtrusive and obnoxious set of "tutorials" that teach you how to, Uhh, use your phone? I was getting tutorials for how to send my music to my chromecast long after I'd already done that, and I've gotten repeated "tutorials" that I didn't need in the first place. Seriously guys, we can figure out your UI. Its not that much of an enigma, and is mostly well designed which makes this review a shame.
  • Love the lossless, but some recent issues

    By Mr Nasim
I’m mostly happy with the sound quality, but recently there has been an annoying issue. If I have committed a number of tracks to my playlist, listened to a couple of them and then restart my iDevice it will invariably return to the first track in the list. This didn’t use to be the case.
  • Great app!

    By Brian_Castillo
Amazing music selection and sound quality! Most importantly developer team listens to users. Reported a bug in which Tidal randomly pauses play when playing through Airplay device using an iPhone X running iOS 12.0. Thanks for listening and constantly improving your product.
  • Really like but

I really like the music and quality of the music. Just wish they would support MQA on the iPhone/iPad.

I have been to several free events Tidal has hosted and they are 100% the reason why I’ll never leave. The events range from album release parties to Made in America 2017 (I WON TICKETS TO THEM ALL!!!)No one else is doing this. Tidal is great because it’s more than a music streaming service. They treat us soooooo well. Plus they have a yearly benefit concert to help whatever cause. This year it’s criminal justice reform. Last year it was Puerto Rico. The service and app continue to improve. Yes, there are minor bugs but every app has something about it that needs fixing. Overall they are the best. (I’ve tried allll the services by the way)
  • One of the best music apps but needs a little tweaking

    By little guy inbit
First off I love the app music selection , nothing’s perfect in this world , the only issue I wish could be resolved is sometimes I have albums stored in my list and they disappear from the app completely (explicit versions ) but it keeps the edited version, I’m mean that’s ok if I have children in the car but for me it’s a bummer, tidal please fix it I freakin love this app!!!!
  • How is Tidal So Far Behind The Competition?

    By Anubis52
I almost never write reviews for apps but there were so many issues that I felt compelled to write one. The impact of these combined issues added up to a poor offline experience. Please note: This review was mostly inspired because of the ridiculous offline (off of WiFi) issues I encountered. Also, I tried updating and re-downloading the app to resolve the issues too. •Can’t download individual songs (illogical) •Can’t shuffle downloaded without compiling them into a playlist (poor and obsolete interface design) •Frequent issues of streaming non-downloaded music over cellular data
