Track the foods you shove in your piehole with CARROT, the talking calorie counter. ** Featured by Apple, Good Morning America, CNN, the Wall Street Journal, Wired, & more! ** After watching humans indiscriminately stuff their chubby faces for far too long, CARROT has scienced up a calorie counter that will reward you for healthy eating - and punish you for overindulging. Log At Lightning Speed Simply tap CARROT’s ocular sensor, then start typing to search her enormous food database. Or you can open her barcode scanner to scan the UPC of the item you just wolfed down. See A Food's True Cost Did you know you need to go for a 90 minute walk just to burn off the calories contained in a single slice of pizza? CARROT will convert a food's calories into terms you can actually understand, like how many miles you'll need to run to work off a donut. Feel The Burn Keep your avatar from blimping up by logging your workouts. CARROT imported a wide variety of activities into her database, including Running, LARPing, and Laser Tag. Get Yelled At For Opening The Fridge Stick an iBeacon sensor inside your fridge, and CARROT will remind you to log your foods whenever you get near. But be careful - if you’re already over your calorie goal, CARROT will blare an alarm. Quake In Fear Of Punishment Overeat, and CARROT will serve up brutal punishments like bribe requests, hideous fullscreen ads, and tweets that will shame you in front of all your social media pals. Features: - Track your calories with a talking AI construct - Scan barcodes for lightning-fast logging - Record your exercises and workouts - Watch your avatar grow as you consume food - Stay up to date on your progress with the Today widget - Create time-based reminders for different meals - Use an iBeacon sensor to set up a proximity-based reminder - Establish calorie and weight loss goals - Sync data with Apple's Health app Don't make CARROT angry. • Love it

    I love it! Sincerely, Meatbag
  • I literally can not use this

    By I'm so mad!!!
I state my gender, age, and height but when I get to weight a pop up accuses me of lying (190). When I click the button that says I am not The screen gets darker and I can’t choose what type of life style I live (sedentary). Idk why this is happening but it would be great if this could be fixed soon, my friends recommended this app to me and I’m excited to be able to use it. Edit: this has occurred more than once
  • Reminder Bug

    By Rivers McMurtry
Great app. Easy to use. However, when I try to set reminders on it, they don’t save. It just stays on “OFF”. Please fix.
  • Broken

    By Jack Isidore
Can not get through signup. Have tried relaunching the app a few times. No IPhone X support has me guessing it hasn’t had attention paid like the other more popular apps by the developer, leading to the brokenness.
  • Needs better metrics

    By camera obscura Max
I like to see my daily intake as a metric that included a tally of calories, protein, fats, carbohydrates. This matters when on diet exercise regime. Otherwise what’s the point? The quality of food calories is related to the contents of the food. If I stayed under my daily calorie but only ate potato chips I would have a problem.
  • I wanted this to be great...

    By jphotog
But ultimately it not working with Fitbit makes it just novelty. And it doesn’t let me edit things. Like there’s a glitch in the program. All the reminders still say off after I set them. I had trouble changing the weight as well. And the database of foods is meager at best.
  • Funny and helpful

    By G-Mo
The comedic personality helps me to bother to enter the foods I eat. It’s not as full-featured (from a food entry standpoint) as the other app I used to use whose name I can’t remember, but then, I can’t even remember the name of the other app, so Carrot is more useful for weight management.
  • Creative

    By sjrdragon
This is a fun little app. It is creative. Four stars because of creativity. The food ocular is snail speed. App does not parse food amounts sufficiently to facilitate meatballs. At the beginning every food is a search. There significant room for growth for this app. By comparison see Carb Manager. Food selection is facilitated. Parsing portion is fast. Snacking is valued. Etc. This app, Carrot, is worth every penny, BUT there a better metrics in other apps.
  • I’d like to use this but it’s broken

    By Christyrobzzzz
Please fix asap. Like everyone else, I can’t get past the setup. I really like the CARROT⁴ universe, but I am about to have to go back to MyFitnessPal for calorie counting.

Can't get past the activity level of the setup. I've had this app before, and I deleted it because I needed space for school. Now its summer and I hate myself again, so... Update: I just had to zoom through it and it didn't freeze, so problem solved.
