  • My Most Used App

    By Clurichaun
Obviously I'm in the minority because I do not use the popular markdown features but it is great for jotting down quick notes that one can save or send as emails, messages, social media posts and even add tasks to Omni Focus. You can use it as a search engine, dictionary, thesaurus, and in conjunction with other apps to create larger, more elaborate compositions. Drafts is really very versatile and there is really no other app that can currently match Draft's abundance of features. The app is also universal which is a huge plus if you toggle back and forth, like myself, between my iPhone 8 and iPad Pros. *UPDATE: Already a whole year since the last review and still, as always, this app is best in class and I try new productivity/note/journal/ writing apps on almost a daily basis and run them through all of the important tests and use Drafts as the measuring rod. For big epic ramblings you want to jot out before sending it as text to be formatted elsewhere or simple notes, messages, emails, social media posts and todos, Drafts has you covered. The keyboard is best in class as well and for those that don’t want to be distracted by toggling around for characters, this keyboard beats them all.
  • Indispensable

A truly useful app, flexible with attentive and timely development. Much appreciated.
  • Awesome! iMessage and Watch too!

This is a great app! I haven't even used the formatting yet. It's well done, great usability, and the pinnacle of useful. It saves your note and creates a new blank note when you close the app completely. So it's always ready, no waiting for sync to finish or buttons to hit. Dictation adds more efficiency and quick use. Tons of cloud export options. The iMessage app lets you access and send notes which is worth getting the app alone. Add to that, the Watch app. Drafts is over the top useful. I'm checking for a Mac app too. Thank you for an excellent, well thought out and executed, app.
  • Why have I not found this sooner

Love the integration with I watch.
  • Crashes several times a day

Used to be one of the most stable apps I used. Over the past year the crashes have become quite numerous. Still recommend this app!
  • Great App!!

Very useful and totally flexible. Only limited by its users imagination.
  • Endless possibilities

Aside from it being a searchable database of all my notes it can also do lists, check lists, text transformations (upper case to capitalize for example)... anything you can imagine doing with text pretty much there’s an extension for it. It does smart selecting, for example you can place your cursor and it will select the entire line, instead of moving the selectors around on a tiny screen. Seriously takes all the pain out of working with text. Possibly the best feature though is that it always starts with a clean screen.
  • Constantly useful 👍👍👍👍👍

Helps me capture thoughts and then deal with them later. No bugs. Lots of editor shortcuts and assistants.
  • Most used app on my phone!

    By Sithmaith
Drafts is an awesome app. It may be the most used app on my phone. I use it to draft journal entries, emails, Facebook and Twitter posts, stories, ideas, thoughts. If I write, it's probably done on Drafts. It's easy to use and allows you to connect to a variety of services and apps. For me, one of the best things is that I can set the font size large enough so that I can see it without my reading glasses. That means that I can work anywhere. If I have a lot of words to write, I get out my Bluetooth keyboard, set my phone where I can see it and type away. Who needs a laptop? I'm writing this review on Drafts while riding in my car (riding, not driving!) holding my power with one hand and typing with my thumb. Talk about making creativity easy!
  • Needs Mac app

    By squalamack
This would be my favorite app if it synced to a Mac app. I’d like to take notes on the go and process them on my iMac. But as it is any notes I take with this app just get forgotten
