By following the simple instructions that are provided, you will be able to match the pitch, noisiness and loudness of your tinnitus to find the best sound for your unique tinnitus relief. With its flexible controls, Whist can provide any of the types of sounds produced by custom masking devices, at a small fraction of the cost. "Whist is very helpful to me when I experience tinnitus. Prior to Whist, I would have to find noisy places to work in so that the ringing in my ear wouldn’t bother or distract me. Now, I can stay in the comfort of my room and let Whist generate sounds that relieve my tinnitus. Whist’s sounds are completely customizable – I get to create ones that both mask my tinnitus and bother me less than the ringing in my ear. I would highly recommend Whist to anyone bothered by their tinnitus and looking for relief.” Laura D., Age 20, Tinnitus Sufferer Whist Support: tech-support@sens.com Whist on the Web: sens.com/whist Whist on Facebook: facebook.com/whisttinnitus

I tried the lite version and it works fine. Bought the premium version and it doesn't play through earphones on iphone5. No support.

hard to tune in a parameter because it is so laggy and random. extremely frustrating, love the look although the contrast and text weights are not old-eyes friendly. wanted to love it

I have to completely log in again each time I use this app. It is slow to load and then I have to swipe through all the screens. Then, if it get interrupted by anything like a text message tone it quits and I have to go through it all again.

Ive found this app to be helpful for training me to ignore my tinnitus. I find fine tuning of the noise and frequency to be difficult- the addition of bump buttons for finer tuning would be helpful.

I just tried it and I felt that it kinda worked at balancing it out. But regardless, some people are giving out a free app to attempt to fix this and It works nice. Its really hard to book doctors for tinnitus these days let alone find a workable treatment. Tinnitus is an effed up thing with alotta unknowns, but atleast this is a big step in the right direction. Screw the idiot reviews, try this.

Let's you fine tune and match your tinnitus sound (pitch and intensity) on the free app. Worked for me, so I paid the $1.99 to save my settings in the full app. No-brainier.
  • Useful but can use some more options

I use this app whenever I have trouble sleeping due to my tinnitus. I feel if they added my suggestions to the app it would also help me at other times as well. But I'll take what I can get, and this is the best I've found.

First use, about 1700 seconds, felt good to drown out tinnitus with matching tone, relief for 10 minutes after was great, if only for ten minutes, will keep using to see if improvement continues
