  • Unable to open sheets on iPhone XS max

After the latest Update, I am not able to open any of the Microsoft office apps, be at sheets word or PowerPoint. Whenever I click on the app it tries to open however he shuts down immediately, and I’m taking back to the homepage. It is very frustrating to do my job if I am not able to open any spreadsheets.

  • Unable to open shared Sheets

I’ve seen someone post a similar review, but I can’t open any Sheets shared with me through Gmail. This is huge problem if I need to open and edit Sheets when I’m away from my laptop, so I hope the issue will get fixed soon.
  • App does not work like the web browser version

    By LizaWhit12
Trying to use google sheets on an ipad is nearly impossible because the app does not have the same controls/functions available to use in the menu bar that the web browser version has. They have over simplified it to the point where it is practically inoperable. To top it all off, you can not login to the google sheets web browser version on an iPad because it forces you to download the app. Very frustrated that I can not do simple tasks in the sheets app because they do not have the control available in the menu bar.

  • Unable to open shared Sheets on iPhone

I recently started a shared google sheet through a link that anyone can edit. We have been having widespread issues that when you open the link it takes you to the url which will not allow you to edit the sheet. And it prints you to download the sheets app to edit. Even after downloading the app you get the same prompt and are unable to edit the app. It is a great concept but does nothing but invoke frustration from users.

  • Rudimentary at best

I rely on Google Sheets on the desktop and it's excellent. But on iOS it is years out of date. While Excel and Numbers bring desktop-class power to iOS, Google Sheets is lacking. After all this time you can't use an external keyboard to copy and paste cell ranges. It's madness. iOS users deserve better--and Google's competitors are providing it.
