  • Painfully loud noises

Lots of loud clicking noises when using them. Was testing by listening to the TV. The TV was quiet, but every time I moved,I heard loud clicking noises. If the volume isn't at max,a voice yells at you to turn it up. I'm convinced this app could seriously damage your hearing. Please don't use it. Also, I tested this using Airpods.
  • Work great!.. but the volume thing...

So first I’d like to start off by saying that this is a great application and it works wonderfully and I’ve used it with Bluetooth devices almost flawlessly. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, lets talk about this volume notification… if you decide to turn the volume down while using the application, a very loud voice comes on screaming at you(or at least that’s the best imagery i can give to exemplify the issue) to turn it back up or risk reducing the applications effectiveness. I understand that ideally you would want the volume turned all the way up... however, as a user I would like the option to freely adjust the volume without being harassed… It’s absolutely intrusive an annoying! Please fix this!
  • No good with Bluetooth

With a quarter second delay the echo is impossible to live with. Probably works with aux jack (missing on latest iphones). Nice idea but not what I need. Update - developer responded with this explanation: “Hello. The amount of audio transfer delay from microphone to speaker for all devices is different. We can not help it. The processing of the signal by our application adds no more than 20 msec to the delay of the audio signal." While the above may be true it isn’t useable with any of my three different brands of headphones, as the delay is maddening. I was looking for a way to comfortably enjoy TV with my family and when I realized I would need to use an audio cable for the software to work I simply plugged it directly into the TV and got far superior sound. That 30 ft cable cost $12 on Amazon and solved my problem without monthly or annual costs. Nice try but not really much of a “hearing aid”.

  • Too much echo

The hearing test was almost as accurate as my audiologist, that is about the end of the good news. The echo effect caused by delay was so distracting it makes the app unusable. Sorry but this doesn’t really work all that well.

  • Wireless Bone Conduction

Well works good if you have functioning ears. I found the hearing test rather difficult because I lack hearing 100% in one ear and bypassing the test was confusing. Second I use bone conduction ear phones and found no way to match them before the testing. I could not even match AirPods because the app expects earphones being plugged into my phone. Just suggest that the app be updated to include being able to wireless linking to the latest bone conduction ear phones.

I guess this doesn’t work with Bluetooth speaker. No results for test.

  • Not for everyone

There seems to be a lag between the sounds and the amplification. It makes it hard to keep up and doesn’t really solve my hearing problems.
