  • Where’s The Effort To Stay In Business

    I cancelled my paper delivery because service was so poor and went the the electronic version. The one star rating is right. There’s little or no effort to improve this poorly designed and maintained app. No support at all. How do they expect to keep this paper in business?

    I read the e edition a few days each week; I download this app, and as others have said, it’s completely non functional. Oddly enough, I can usually sign in through a web browser without much trouble.
  • How are papers going to stay in business?

    Worked perfectly for some time then so, so many problems. Won’t load new version of paper, repeatedly gives error message you are not authorized requiring multiple logins or it flips back to to paper before you can, pages won’t load or take up to a minute to load, article-level view gives server error or changes font size. Beside all these issues making it impossible to read, it’d be nice to see the time while reading without having to exit the app or to provide a support link to report issues like the above. Seriously, fix this or we find an alternative for our news source!

    If a company is going to charge for services, they should deliver the services they have charged for. This eEdition is an exercise in frustration and the newspaper charges for the services that are not delivered.

  • Won’t work on latest IOS

    This app needs to be updated. It was working until the latest IOS update. Now it shows loading, but never totally loads. It is very frustrating. Will someone PLEASE notice this and update the app???
  • Still can't deliver the paper

    Just like their home delivery, the Express News is not capable of delivering their newspaper on a daily basis. When I had home delivery, I would miss issues because they could not be delivered to my home. Now with a digital delivery, they still can't get the newspaper delivered on a daily basis. I blame this crappy app as the problem as well as poor management at the company. Don't waste time with this piece of software. Get your news from somewhere else.

  • Customer service horrible and doesn’t load

    I have spent hours trying to load this after being a member since the e-edition and print subscriber before then. I call customer service and after 40 min and being switched around, no solution. Ask for a supervisor and another 20 min being transferred around—I got a refund with my iTunes app, but won’t let me resubscribe—hopeless problem and they won’t read this! I’m still having a problem and can’t resubscribe—help!

    Not surprising and par for this newspaper, all of a sudden, after a year or more of use, I am unable to open this app.
