  • Best meditation app for ADHD

    I was recently diagnosed w mild ADHD. My therapist recommended three apps to help me manage my emotions & mindfulness. I tried all three & subscribed to two. So far, this one is the only that I keep using. I found it is the most helpful for people w “scattered” minds (ADHD) to practice mindfulness and learn to check & control their emotions. This & exercises are the two biggest scaffoldings of my post diagnosis life. So far my symptoms are well managed without medication.

    Great site! Free meditations are awesome but every year I’m tempted to buy the whole thing. Cool self acupressure tutorials and other great things! This is my #1 go to for guided meditations. I’ve been meditating for about 4 years now and have never found an app better than this one!

    I came to this app this afternoon, and I really like it! It is easy to use, does not make me feel I need to know the sound of one hand clapping in order to practice various meditations or breathing, etc, and is convenient!

    When I listen the words are non judgmental. The words guide to a goal of contentment. The words do not try to convince my thoughts on ‘what’ to think. I am guided to content thoughts.

    I use the timed meditation now, but started with the guided meditation to get me going. I only have one complaint. I wish there were some more stickers before 365 days of meditation. I almost made it, but sometimes life steps in.
