  • Great app... but it needs a “scribble to erase” feature.

I really like this app. It gets the job done. I use this app when I’m at home, but I must say, the reason I don’t use it in class is that it’s time consuming to use while in the in-class setting. I use Notes Plus, mostly because it has this feature where if you scribble left to right, it will erase what you wrote, as opposed to having to tap the eraser icon at the top of the screen and going over what you want to erase. I do know there’s a feature to automatically revert back to the pen option, but for me I like the scribble feature more on Notes Plus or Nebo, for the time saving aspect. I know it’s splitting hairs, but I would go to GoodNotes full time if they had a feature like that.
  • Soft reboots all the time with iPad 6th gen

I have the new iPad 6th gen and when I add a good amount of notes using pencil suddenly the screen goes blank and I see that apple loading thing and then it comes back. But the most recent notes are lost. Please fix it. Don’t make user feel bad about investing in your software.

You can’t use fonts downloaded to your iPad. You can only use their fonts in the app. It really affects the freedom of what you create.
  • Great for school

Great app! I use it for school and have eliminated my notebooks and hard campy textbooks. The only thing that I wish it had was the ability to open and display multiple pages at a time in landscape mode.

This app is my go-to grocery list: I’ve created a grocery list “template” with departments and food items. What I love about it is I can highlight the items needed each week before leaving for the store. After purchase, I erase the highlights and start over anew the following week. It syncs well with my iPhone, as long as I remember to open my GoodNotes list (using wi-fi) before leaving the house (will not open without wi-fi). Then it’s easy to view while shopping the aisles. I can only imagine all the other projects GoodNotes would be helpful for.

This app doesn’t work at all. I can use my Apple Pencil on any other app but this one. I have tried low and high pressure to no avail. Save your money!

On you tube they make it seem easy to use, and I love the concept of it. BUT... when I tried to write simple and they all turned into O’s or non sense. Tried going slower same outcome. Had to delete please don't charge me!!!!!!!!

I use this app in every aspect of my life. From personal use to business use this app does it all. My coworkers cannot believe that I am totally digital. Do not come in my office with paper. I really like the fact that I have learned how to make paper templates. Now if I need a sheet of ordering paper I just import a new sheet, if I need check register paper I just open the check register. Everything is so organized like a notebook and I really like the fact that I am able to print directly from iPad onto 8 1/2 x 11 paper just like it was meant to be.

I truly am enjoying this app. I think it is simple enough to use and understand, but it isn’t so simple to the point where it is boring. I literally just got this app a few days ago, so I definitely have yet to experience the whole app. But if there was one thing I want right now, it is lined and graphed paper with narrower spacing between the lines. It currently has lined and graph paper, but the spacing is bigger than I would like. Other than that, notes on this app can be so neatly written and organized; I love it.
