Description

Introducing digital birth control. A natural method of birth control that uses a smart algorithm to learn your cycle and identify your ovulation by analyzing your basal body temperature. Natural Cycles is for women over the age of 18. Natural Cycles does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Natural Cycles is only available as a method of birth control in the USA and Europe. In countries outside the USA and Europe, Natural Cycles is intended to be used as a fertility tracker. Natural Cycles is 93% effective under typical use, which means that 7 women out of 100 get pregnant during 1 year of use.* No method of contraception is 100% effective, even when using the app perfectly you can still have an unintended pregnancy. Natural Cycles shows you: ○ How your unique cycle works ○ Daily updates on where you are in your cycle ○ When you are in the fertile phase of your cycle and need to use protection (e.g. condoms) ○ When your ovulation is detected and predicted ○ When your period is coming up and when you can expect PMS ○ The science behind your menstrual cycle Natural Cycles is: ○ The first digital method of birth control available in both the USA and Europe ○ Backed by scientific research ○ CE marked & FDA cleared Pricing Plans: Yearly plan: 79.99 USD/year. Free thermometer included. Monthly plan: 9.99 USD/ month. Thermometer not included. Free trial: 30 day free trial. Thermometer not included. To use the app you need a two-decimal basal thermometer. Precautions: ○ As a contraceptive, Natural Cycles may be less suitable for you if you have irregular menstrual cycles (i.e. cycles shorter than 21 days or longer than 35 days) and/or fluctuating temperatures as predicting fertility is more difficult in these circumstances. Natural Cycles’ effectiveness as a contraceptive is not affected by irregular cycles, but you will experience an increased number of red days, which can reduce your satisfaction with Natural Cycles. ○ Natural Cycles does not protect against sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Use a condom to protect against STIs. Want to learn more about Natural Cycles? • Love Natural Cycles

I have spent the last 10 years going off and on different kinds of birth control. I wanted to get off, once and for all due to health reasons. Natural cycles has changed the way I see contraception. An all natural, no estrogen pumping birth control method. Who would’ve thought?! And it actually works!! Natural cycles keeps it all super simple but highly informative and so fun! I love learning about my body and what it’s doing. Thank you Natural Cycles 💕🌺
  • App is great, only wish for a backlit therm and/or WiFi sync

I love the app. Switched from a copper IUD in June and feel increasingly empowered and knowledgeable about my body. The improvement of adding a backlit thermometer and WiFi syncing would be awesome. The manual typing in can be a pain sometimes, especially on dark early mornings. I would also love to be able to add items to track (i.e. cf, sex drive, etc.). I searched for an app for a long time that had both charting and the red/green light for sex. This had both and a reasonable price. Even with the reduced functionality I would highly recommend it.
  • Started off great, things went downhill...

I've been using the app for a little over a year, and measuring my temperature regularly. I also use Kindara to chart my personal tracking. My CF, cervix, libido, spotting, and ovulation pain all point towards consistent ovulation on CD 12-14 each cycle, but Natural Cycles tends to mark it as anywhere from CD 12-23. The final straw was when it told me I ovulated 4 days before my menstrual cycle. Impossible?! It's given me green days through ovulation, and 20+ red days/month, and told me that I have great temperature variation (low). I don't know what to make of the inconsistencies, and as a result, I've switched to Daysy. Two weeks in, and I already have more green days, and they happen to line up with where all the other signs in my chart are pointing to green days. Thank you Natural Cycles for helping me start my journey into hormone free birth-control, and bye-bye.
  • Amazing! Reliable Contraception (No Hormones and Non-Invasive!!)

I had been on hormonal birth control for 10 years and decided I wanted to begin charting my cycle to understand my fertile and non-fertile periods. I had switched between oral, shot, and IUD contraceptive methods and this is the first method I have used that is hormone-free. It’s the easiest and least expensive option by far, and I have had the added benefit of getting to know my cycle really for the first time in my life! It is liberating, seamlessly easy to use - can’t say enough about it!!!

I’m about three months in and I am really enjoying Natural Cycles. Taking medication and hormones is not my thing. Though I still use protection on green days, I feel a lot more confident in preventing pregnancy.
  • Love the app, hate taking temps

The app is amazing but the thermometer and the whole process of having to wake up at the same time each day to take your temp was a real pain. Having insomnia, I basically had to deviate every single temp because my sleep is never stable. Now I have a wearable thermometer that monitors my temp through the night and then I plug that sleeping temp into Natural Cycles. Works like a dream! No more deviating temps due to irregular sleep!
  • Great foundation but app is just okay

I like that this app is highly accurate and FDA approved but as someone who is trying to conceive I think there are equally helpful, free apps out there that are faster, more intuitive and informative. For someone who is using it as birth control maybe it’s worth the money, but I haven’t gotten any information from NC that I hadn’t already from Glow, which I’ve been using for the past eight months just tracking my periods and taking ovulation tests. Glow’s predicted fertile dates have been the same as NC now that I’ve been using them both (I continue to toggle between them to compare and because I find Glow to be faster and more informative) so I don’t know what benefit I’m getting out of using NC. One example of how NC is not ideal, the temperature graph and the monthly calendar don’t have dates AND cycle days - the monthly calendar has dates but no cycle days, and the temperature graph has cycle days but no calendar dates. So I end up going back and forth between those two screens a lot. In Glow, when you look at the monthly calendar and your cycle chart you can see both the calendar date and your cycle day on the same screen. I also find that the symbols used in the NC calendar are cryptic and not immediately intuitive or clear. Again, compare it to Glow! Also, I’ve turned notifications on but don’t get any notifications...

  • So much better than hormones!

Once I got engaged, I knew I needed to settle what kind of birth control we were going to use after the wedding. But, I was immediately sure I wanted something that wouldn't be hard to my body or throw off the natural rhythm too much. I only have one ovary already and didn't want to risk throwing off the small amounts of hormones left to me. So I researched natural cycles and I am a fan! I've been using it a few months now and no pregnancy yet! For peace of mind I definitely recommend doing your research and understanding the science behind it. Then you will know the reasons for the green and red days. Also shell out the $10 for a box of 50 LH tests. It makes green dats multiply much faster since it gives the app more information to work with. Other than that, just follow the instructions and enjoy natural birth control!
  • Many thanks!

I LOVE this app! I’ve been wanting to get off my pill birth control for quite sometime and when I heard about this app I was skeptical at first but the idea of being able to go natural was way worth the effort! This app has made it so much easier for me be aware of my own body and it’s very interactive and is full of useful information that I thought I already knew enough of but reminders are ALWAYS helpful. Thank you Natural Cycles!
