In the beginning things can seem overwhelming with the app, but once you figure out how the app works, you feel unstoppable in the craft world! Lol Plus, if you’re ever unsure about something with Design Space, look it up on YouTube or Pinterest. There are all sorts of step by step tutorials on various projects!

Admittedly, I am a skeptic at heart. I assumed that the Cricut would be overrated. And being a techy, was very turned off at the thought of being locked in to using design center. Thus far, neither have let me down. For the purpose of this review I’ll keep it to the ios design center app. It has not crashed on me. It is responsive. And you’re able to execute nearly everything from the phone that you can from the Mac web app. For the most part I use the computer to build out jobs. Then use the iOS app when I’m ready to send the jobs to the Cricut. I have been impressed with how Cricut makes the software easy to use for the novice or casual user. It also supports inputs from more advanced applications (Illustrator specifically) for power users. I work in software development, so I have a great deal of appreciation for achievements like this. As for constructive feedback: * I would like to see a back button or a ‘history’ feature to be added to the ‘Home’ section. I do a lot of browsing and sometimes you just want to compare something found in a search to something you have stored yourself. The only way to do this is to re-execute your searches each time to flop between the two. * Maybe more of an overarching feature here - but I would like to see the addition of ‘lists’ to the design center app. So when browsing projects you could add them to personal lists (maybe create a list for a specific occasion, idea, present for a person etc). Similar in nature to a wish list in apps like amazon.

As of today the app freezes on my iPad or iPhone. I’ve had a little better luck with design space on my laptop. I’m unable to do anything on the iPad and iPhone. The last several weeks have been terrible. This review is solely for the app as I love my cricut but if I can’t use it then I have an issue. Please fix design space!! It has fallen off the mark of where it was and is failing. So sad :(

I’m not sure what’s going on, but just like another review said, the last week or so has been abysmal. Spinning wheel, blank screen. Kinda wishing I’d gotten the Silhouette at this point.

I have been using this app for a while now and overall it has worked just fine. Recently though it has been freezing and crashing. I cannot even get through a project. Please fix this.

The iPad program keeps not loading and even closes. I have reinstalled. I was really loving this program until the last few weeks it won’t load things right and takes forever. My iPad is new and WiFi is working perfect. I use the program everyday creating projects and printing so it’s very frustrating. Please fix it

So I spent all this money on the cricut maker and I have a brand new iPhone, yet neither cricut app works correctly and I’m lucky to even get it to load up and show anything, but it doesn’t save my favorites, it’s just a super crappy unusable app, an app that without it makes my very expensive machine worthless..should have bought a glowforge

I also am having a difficult time getting anything to load on my iPhone X or iPad. Sometimes the page will load after several minutes but most of the time all I get is a blue box that says new project and the rest of the page is blank. This is very frustrating when you are trying to find a project to make! Sometimes refreshing it several times will bring up projects on the page but this is very inefficient!

I am in love with this app. It’s great to be able to design projects on the go. I had a little bit of learning curve with the tool bar but after a few projects I got the hang of it.
