  • A lifetime purchase that changed to monthly or annual.

When I originally purchased the Premium App, there were no options for monthly, or annually. Thee one and only option was for a single one time purchase that said nothing about it ending, but hey that’s the US Government for you. I didn’t just find this out, I still have the same app on my phone, it’s just fairly useless... this just happens to be the first time I was asked to leave a review. The reason for the second star is that NOAA is the most accurate of all weather radars and forecasts there are. I still feel ripped off though.

The weather radar helps immensely in pinpointing weather alerts to make forecasts more helpful and accurate. Also I like getting the big picture so I know what to anticipate in the hours and day or so ahead.

Lovey to see the current radar, but the prior version gave a radar forecast so you could see the predictive weather.

No obvious way to cancel before they start charging. Not even clear that it’s a paid service upon download.
  • Just wrong!

I have use this app for about the past six months. But increasingly it’s not reliable. The latest example is this weekend’s snowstorm. The predicted snowfall totals on this app have been out of touch with every other prediction I found, and turn out – no surprise - to have been wrong!
