Yeah noooooope! You went from an awesome mail app to complete greed. You lost a ton of customers, including myself!! Look at your reviews now. Hahah. Most reviews are fake. You can easily tell. Whoever has to pay $50 for an email client when there are 4+ GREAT free ones otherwise. This company deserves to be bankrupt. They have no sense how to run a business.
  • Nothing remotely worth $50/year!!

Seriously? People are really paying $50/year for getting their email when it’s a service you’re ‘already’ paying for? Nothing even remotely worth $50/year for email here. I’m ok with ‘valid purpose’ subscriptions, eZines, books clubs, etc. Weather apps with extra-extending forecasting. But for ANY email app where the email access is already paid for ISP), is simply ripping people off.
  • Good email app/Good customer service experience

I’ve tried many email apps. Newton by Cloudmagic is easy to use and has all of the functionality I want and need. Most importantly, the customer service is first-rate. My questions are answered quickly and any issued are resolved. I don’t understand the pushback by others on the price. A good, functional email app is a bargain at any reasonable price. Kudos to the Cloudmagic/Newton team.

New update, yet still no fix for the notifications! Brag about how many subscribers, yet they’re not eager to implement new features or fix existing issues. Maybe provide what you fixed in the latest update. Had to change my rating. This app is gorgeous, but the persistence of the notifications is extremely annoying! If you get 5 notifications for new emails and you click on one to read it, and check the other new emails while you're in the app, those notifications won't go away from your notification history. The way Apple has notifications set up on iPhones and iPads is absolutely horrible to begin with and this app makes it more overwhelming. Also Newton hasn't had one update since I've had this app and paid for the subscription! What the heck is the subscription for if you don't listen to your subscribers and their requests??? This is really sad! God only knows if we'll ever see an update soon. ------------------------------------------- The UI is very clean. The ease of setup is awesome! Layout is very nice and intuitive. This app loads emails fast. Gotta say one of my favorite features is the Snooze to desktop option. Definitely give this a go! I would like to see a couple of key features: - Quick access to all attachments - Peek & Pop (Long press = Bulk edit & Hard press = Peek & Pop) - Implementation of haptic feedback (this is good for swipe options to let the user know when they’re swiping into a different option. Also gives a rich experience) - Who doesn’t like Themes? - A “Today” section would be awesome (see all the email that you’ve received that day)
  • One of my favorite apps, but...

Love the app. Has some great features, works great and I never have any issues. It’s also very clean and minimalistic with the layout. Based on how well the app works I would give it 5 stars. But I’ve been a Newton subscriber for awhile now. What I loved is they were always rolling out new features and staying ahead of some of the other apps out there, but in the last 3-5 months things have been stagnant. There have been no major new features to speak of. The only rollout I have seen from Newton was the calendar, which is nothing special. I would love to see the company continue to innovate and rollout new features that continues to take the pain out of email. Things like: Email templates - save canned responses for easy replies Newton team- I would pay more for this. Give us the ability to comment on email threads with our team, share email templates, assign emails to specific team members, and see read receipts across the team - (Front app and Missive app are good examples) Slack integration - if team features are not possible then giving us a slack integration could work. See the Astro mail app for a good example. It integrates with Slack perfectly. Read receipts are shown in the app and in a slack channel so you can see a list of all opened emails. All emails can be brought into a slack channel and communicated about. You can choose to save certain emails to slack and even reply from slack Calendar integration - see the Astro mail app and Readdle app with G cal built right into the mail app. You all have Newton calendar. Why not integrate this into one app and let us see our availability all in one app AI - Astro, Readdle, Trove and Gmail are all adding AI capabilities to make managing and replying to email easier like having an assistant Set notification hours - automatically set notifications to stop in non-work hours.
  • Top notch mail app

I’ve tried pretty much every mail app in the App Store and Newton is one of the best. The closest match to it is Astro with regards to its feature set and although Astro is free (for now) if you don’t care for its Bot feature it just gets in the way. Newton also works on personal email accounts which means it can be your one and only app on both iOS and Mac. The main thing I miss from Apple Mail on iOS is the “Today” view and extended haptic feedback when swiping to delete or archive, would love to see Newton check those off.

I’ve tried many mail apps and Newton is an outstanding app and the best. Most important, it’s easy to manage it in different platforms. It’s easy, quick and beautiful. Their customer service is very fast and helpful.
  • Not worth the price

Significant updates are few and far between. Updates frequently break other features. No feature roadmap is available or exists. Other email clients are available with better features, are more stable, and far less expensive. No calendar integration! App frequently stops processing incoming emails. I have cancelled my subscription as a result of poor quality.

Love this app, will give. 5/5 when: 1. Calendar is embedded into Mail App (for both IOS/Android) 2. New calendar functions for desktop application (for both Mac/Windows) 3. Blog updates with updates on next versions 4. Blog updates with upcoming features
