  • Terrible Experience and App

    I ordered some late dinner, well within closing time of the restaurant as I found out later. As I watched my order tracking time I noticed the estimated delivery time either stayed the same or increased. There is no helpful information within the app as to how to contact someone before a driver picks up the food. After close to two hours of waiting I finally located a phone number on the internet, and had to do some digging even to get that. The customer service person informed me that there weren’t enough available drivers or something to that effect and now the restaurant was closed so basically “oh well”. I do not understand why I was not contacted if that was the issue. Apparently my food was prepared and was just sitting there at the restaurant after closing. I have no idea what DoorDash’s end game would have been had I not called. At that point literally all of the restaurants in my area were closed so I was pretty much SOL as far as ordering food. I did get a refund, but it would have basically been theft had I not. Never using again.

  • Worst experience ever!

    My first time using the app and it was the WORST experience ever! I never received my food and they delivered it to someone else. Contacted customer service and was on the online chat for over an hour. My address was correct on my profile but when I ordered it didn’t pull my apartment number through. When I realized I tried to contact the driver with a text telling her what my apartment number was. But it wouldn’t allow me to contact her because I needed to update my number. I tried to update the phone number TEN times! It sends a verification code to my email and I entered it in the app and it would NOT change my number. So I have no way to contact the driver to tell her. So she comes into the apartment and just picks a random apartment number to deliver MY food too! FIRST and LAST time using this app. Back to UberEats I go!!!!!!

    Unfortunately, the app does not display very well on the iPad Pro. It only displays vertically and does not stretch to match the screen.
  • Won’t do the right thing!

    So it used to be that if an order was wrong, DoorDash would credit your account the amount that you paid. Now, they only give you a portion of the credit. It was bad enough that when the food arrived inedible, your money was tied up in the app, now they won’t even give you all your money back! What is the customer supposed to do?
  • Service Fee + Delivery Fee = Somewhere else

    Loved this app and used it quite liberally until I wondered how 19 dollars worth of food could suddenly become 30 dollars before tip and with a 2 dollar delivery fee. It seems you guys have started hiding an extra “service fee” in with the taxes section. I’m disappointed to say the least.

  • The worst, shadiest food delivery

    My first order with them went like this: my food didn’t arrive, my credit card was charged. I ordered food, it never even left the restaurant. So then I called DoorDash to ask why I hadn’t received my order, they charged my card anyway and held funds for a week!! Please avoid using them, unless you want no food for money out of your pocket for a week plus.
