  • Not lost anymore!

Love that I am able to download a .gpx file! Used the app on a morning run in an area that I was not familiar with. It helped me to stay on the course that I had mapped out and I was able to get back to my start. I can’t wait to see what other features this app will come up with. Awesome customer service!
  • Nearly perfect

    By Calion
This app is well-designed and works well. It's almost the only app that will give turn-by-turn directions to runners. The only major flaw is that it will not auto-generate routes. The only app that I've found that will do that is RandomRun.
  • Ok, but...

It gave wrong directions at a couple points
  • Two things

    By Wabam!
    1) manual entry (treadmill) 2) when hard press on app and select "just run" have the run start (or have a setting to have it start) and remove extra click. If I click just run, I want to run now.
  • Great in a new area

Just used this for a relay race in a city I’ve never ran before. Great directions. Two changes I would make. First, I don’t appreciate the option to adjust the voice volume every time I start a run. I would prefer that not to pop up every time. Second, I wish when I hit the big stop button at the end of a run, I wouldn’t have to confirm with a second tap.
  • Ok I guess.

I really like the possibilities with this app. I like to be able to plan a route and have it snap to the roadway and tell me how far I’m going to be running. What I really enjoyed was the possibility of turn by turn directions. Unfortunately the app tends to lag, and I’m constantly getting directions about 100 feet past where I should have. Had me get lost this morning, so I ended up running an extra half mile.
  • Cool idea but needs some improvements

I decided to load a local 25k trail run to follow and it was really frustrating to use especially if you can't use the map the whole time and you are just listening to it. After 400 ft after I'd do a climb it would tell me I'm going the wrong way. Then it keeps saying to turn right/left constantly when there is no other trail path to go so it was really confusing especially when there was actually intersection of trail paths to take. It would help to have a compass on the map and then have the current location dot be an arrow so you know what way you are facing. When you actually click on to find your current location it barely zooms in on it. I'm sure this is probably meant for roads instead of trails. I'd be wary of using it again on trails especially at a place I am not familiar with. I'm not sure if there is anyway they could have it take less battery too that could just be my Apple device's problem.
  • Not good for indoor

    By Bottlegirl
I run indoor tracks a lot and I'm having a really hard time finding an app that works for indoor tracks. I realize it has to do with the GPS and just being in one spot basically, but the Garmin has the indoor running and tracking down really well. Therefore, there should be an app that can do this as well. It's very difficult when I know I have run 2 miles and the app tells me I've only run 1.4 miles. That's off a pretty good bit!!
  • Love this app!
