I love the app when it works. I like getting notifications every 1/4 mile, but this works very intermittently.
  • Turned Pathetic

This app used to be great and reliable until about 4 weeks ago. Now you can’t create routes on laptops after making one route point after starting, and once you create a route on the app you can’t save it.

This is my go to running app. It loads quickly has a simple and clean user interface and just works. I don’t use the killer feature of this app, turn by turn directions, but it’s still a great app. Please integrate steps counting for us walkers!

  • Love it - why the random u-turns

    By d.dubbuya
Love the voice prompts . Dislike random u-turns . Example, it’s a right turn, but it prompts to make left, then, A u-ey. Run-go is not an ambi-turner.

  • Good, could get better...

Greta app, works wonderful. Only complaint: have to pay to have stats uploaded to strava OR see my splits after 5 miles...
  • Ok, but could be much better

The concept is great but the app is frustrating. The points can be annoying when creating a route as it doesn’t always turn you the right way at first. For example you set a point but it thinks it’s a turn. Then has you turning in a circle when you actually want to go straight through an intersection. Also the gps goes off route a lot. I was running this morning using both RunGo for directions and Strava abs rungo thought I was completely off route interesting through the middle of the park while Strava had me along the path like I was supposed to go. Good thing I knew my way through the park. It’s very buggy and doesn’t read where you are very well. Frustrating!!

Overall great app with a lot of features for it being free. I’m not a huge runner, maybe 8-10 miles a week at 12 minute pace, but this has everything I need.
  • No need for a gps watch

Great app. Just plan your route ahead of time and app guides you from the start to the end of it. (Make sure you zoom in to Precisely mark your route)
