  • Using Noom

Pretty user friendly. Wish the food tracker were more user friendly and counted nutrients like carbs, protein etc
  • No way to cancel before being charged!!!!

    By Pitspice
Latest review: I just attempted to cancel my membership on day 14 of my free trial, and suddenly I can no longer send messages, which is the only way to cancel membership. Seriously? If I am charged tomorrow, I am going to be very displeased. Old review: The app is less user-friendly than it used to be, which might mean the difference between staying with it and canceling. When I log a meal, I can’t select “done” anymore, which means I can’t use any other features without quitting and restarting the app. Sometimes it logs my meals, and sometimes it doesn’t. Very frustrating.
  • A month in.

I’m doing well and trying to soak in all the information that I’m given. I thought I knew enough about weight loss, but I am learning more. I hope to retain the skills I learn in order to keep the wt off. I’m losing wt slowly, but that is a good thing. So far 5 pounds.
  • Great app

Entering your food is easy but the best thing is the daily information of how to change your habits and why.
  • It works!

    By Wpiy456
I’ve tried several apps, pedometers, diets and fads, but this seems to fit me the best. I’ve been learning how to treat and eat food with knowledge. Everyday it gives you articles to help support you in your goal to lose weight and be active. It goes slow so it has been easy for me to lose 10 pounds in a little over a month. No special products to buy, just psychology and science to understand how food can be controlled by you. It’s not the over-the-too as far as information. They break it down so you can see where you’re slipping up when trying to lose weight. I purchased it for 4 months after giving it a free 2 week trial. I even got a discount for telling someone about it. However, I’ve told more than one person since it’s working for me. My family and coworkers can see the difference in my appearance and weight. Thank you, Noom for getting me on track with my health and weight.
  • Easy to Use - Helpful

New has been the easiest app I have ever used for weight loss. It really helps you to think and conquer Temptations and to eat healthier. I highly recommend it.
  • Money grab

I signed up for 14 day trial but a couple days later, my mom had an accident resulting in skull fracture, concussion, facial injuries and a broken neck. Consequently I canceled my membership (or thought I did) only to be charged $129. I sent email request for refund but they said I hadn’t cancelled previously. I had sent a text as instructed for cancellation, got a notice saying we’re sorry to see you go” but apparently that isn’t considered sufficient for refund so they refuse to refund my money. There is no human to talk to so I guess Im down $129. I will not reactivate my account bc of this. I’d prefer to work with a company who will work with their customers and clients. I give 1 star.
  • This is the weight loss approach you’ve been looking for!

    By Pedro the pilot
I’m learning how to eat balanced meals, understand my body and cravings. My coach is there when I need some extra support. I love the entertaining educational pieces from the #noomnerds. It has been so easy to log my foods every day.
  • Works Well If You Have No Job Or Kids

    By Smartalex17
Noom says that it “only takes 10 minutes” each day. However, it takes about 10 minutes just to log the food. They want you to read daily articles, on top of setting weekly goals & chatting in a group session. It is very overwhelming & there is too much information they try to throw at you all at once. I understand the premise that they want you to be informed, but I don’t have time to come home from work, cook for my family, clean up my house a little, put my kid to bed, then “kick up my feet” & read these articles & try to find time to exercise & have a few minutes to myself. It’s well-intentioned but not practical. My “coach” didn’t actually talk to me much when she was supposed to help me with my weekly goals & never actually checked in to see how I was doing with it. Of course, once I said I needed to quit, she didn’t give a crap about me even though I was paid up for several months still. I would not recommend this app. “Weight Watchers” may be the old way, but at least it’s somewhat easy to follow when you are a normal person trying to live a normal life.
  • False advertising on free trial

    By Deea33441
Just signed up and this seems promising, but I’m already really frustrated. One day in to my “free” ($1) two week trial and I can’t use the app at all because I’m supposed to just sit back and absorb the first day’s lesson. Seriously? I want to start eating better, so now I get to sit back and continue eating badly for another day because I can’t log any of my meals and start learning. So let’s get real Noom, it’s a 13-day free trial. And also we’re collectively postponing betterment of myself because of unnecessary gatekeeping.
