  • I'm a bit confused.

Ok, this one will be short. I-I think. In my last review, I discussed there not being a list to choose a category. I got a response, saying that it was intentional and that I can find new projects at the "newest" page. Where is it? I scrolled through the different categories, not being able to find the "newest" category. I'm just curious, is this intentional or is this REALLY a bug? Or is it something else? I really hope to find this category. Hopscotch, thank you for listening.

It used to be that all tutorials were free, but now you have to pay. Also, the newest tab is gone, so what's the point? Don't bother, just use scratch.
  • Good but...ART

I love this game and I can’t stay out of it. I quit art a while back because it’s becoming way to overwhelming! All there is are art so Hopscotch is turning into an art show. I like to code but there are some bugs in my code. When I even tell my thing to wait 2500 milaseconds, it still doesn’t wait, and it won’t draw the right trail unless it’s played again. Next topic, art. Art is all over Hopscotch and I want to play the games and get inspired. What do I see? I see that more of Hopscotch is art and drama more than a coding game. That must be why better Hopscotchers look at me because I’m one of the few options that we have that doesn’t do art. So that’s a bit annoying at how much art there is, 75% of Hopscotch is art now, it’s what I would say. So yeah. P.S-I don’t remember my password into my account and I don’t know how to change it! So I can’t log out and get on a colab Account! It’s really annoying, can you please tell me how to change my password? Thank you! Account name: AwesomeCodingDragon™️ Please fix the art issue. So basically I just got in because I promised to be back at the end of school. I published something... but I could only see my projects that I published, not other people's projects on newest. So I looked for newest and... I can’t find it. How are we supposed to look at new people's projects if we can't see them? How are we supposed to know that they are there unless we search a random user and see them? Please add it back. Newest is needed, thanks

Dear Hopscotch Technologies, I love hopscotch so much, I would like it forever. But here is one thing. Every time I try to get my project to play, it accidentally presses publish. Why is Edit on the left side of the screen when it is supposed to be on the right side? It’s the same with publish. Please, fix it...

This environment is amazing for coding, with a useful, understandable blockly language. The community helps one get some review on your inventions, and allows for others to test it. The overall interface works quite well, but because of the block limitations advanced code is mostly out of reach, which is perfectly fine. One request. Please, I know it would be hard, but add a multitouch capability. Maybe like a handler for each object, so you have a “last touch x” variable and a “last touch y” variable for every object not just the entire screen. A slight problem I’ve run into is once an object is deleted, its name is still taken and no other object can be named what that object was. Not a game-breaker, but annoying. Another problem I’ve seen is when a project with a large number of custom images gets loaded, it takes 10 minutes then ends with a “Whoops! We couldn’t download this project” pop-up. Very much a problem. And for those who are confused if the developer response is not at all related to this topic, that was about a separate problem that was fixed.
  • Great game, but...

So this is a great game, but there is one problem. I have played this for awhile, and have gotten used to the old button layout. When you changed it, it caused me to press the publish button, when I meant to press the edit button. If you could add a way to swap them back to how they used to be, then that would be great!
