MileIQ automatically tracks and records your mileage in the background as you drive your car for business. MileIQ users save an average of $7,300 per year. Tracking your miles for tax deduction purposes? MileIQ is the easiest most accurate way to create logs that follow IRS mileage standards. Easy to Use. Loaded with Features. Two of the biggest mistakes manual paper log keepers make is not maintaining a contemporaneous mileage log and mixing their business miles with personal miles. Inaccurate record keeping can result in rejected mileage deduction claims and IRS penalties. Automatic Mileage Detection MileIQ creates an accurate, contemporaneous record of the miles you drive for work. Automatic drive detection means no stopping and starting the app. No need for manual paper logs.  Accurate Mileage Tracking Features like Name Your Location and One Swipe Classification give your tax-deductible mileage records the accurate details they need to pass IRS scrutiny. A Custom Fit No matter whether you're tracking miles for reimbursements or tax deductions, MileIQ gives you the tools and flexibility to create mileage record details that reflect the miles you drive. • Personalize each drive with vehicle names, job numbers or any designation that fits your business • Use bulk editing to give groups of drives a single purpose • Use Frequent Drives to auto-classify the drives you make most often • Add drives, delete drives, duplicate drives, and more Making Your Business Mileage Count The 2018 standard IRS mileage rate of 54.5 cents per mile driven for business, 14 cents for charity and 18 cents for medical mileage. MileIQ calculates your largest mileage tax deduction. For example, let’s say you drive 1,000 or 10,000 miles for business using the standard mileage rate of 54.5 cents you’d be entitled to a mileage deduction of $545 or $5,450. Detailed Records of Every Drive A mileage log is only as good as the reports it generates. Stored securely in the cloud, MileIQ sends weekly mileage reports directly to your inbox. Need more specificity, use the web dashboard to generate custom reports.  • 20.9 billion miles logged with MileIQ • 60 million hours saved from manual logging • $2.5 billion in mileage deductions and reimbursements Join Millions of Drivers Who’ve Saved Billions of Dollars using MileIQ Try MileIQ for free. Mileage Logging that Works • Easy. Simple to install and use • Automatic. No stopping and starting the app • Organized. Classify your drives with a swipe • Accurate. Mileage logs that meet IRS mileage deduction standards Battery Consumption MileIQ consumes almost no power when stationary (as it quickly goes to "sleep"), and it will only minimally increase battery consumption when in transit. To achieve this minimal battery usage, MileIQ uses smartly constructed formulas to detect drives rather than only using GPS (which requires more power) for location data. • Depends on Cellular provider

    By Firehorse100566
I have 2 cell phones- 1 for work, 1 personal. I have Mike IQ running in both because Verizon tracks more accurately and AT&T, not so much. I travel New England, DE, NJ, PA and occasionally, AT&T tracks better. All in all it is a great app whose limitations are provider based, not app based.
  • Great

I just started using this app and it’s not perfect but it’s pretty great. I wish there was a way to change the settings for the detection to pop up. Sometimes I go from house to house and I’m not stopped long enough in each location for it to register that I went from point a to point b to point c. So if I’m not stopped long enough it rolls all the drives together and sometimes I need it to not be.
  • Actually fun to track

    By drtessemeritus
I love this ap. It is accurate, easy to use, and fun. On my iPad, I have some trouble with the swipe, though this has improved. Sometimes I swipe but nothing happens. Sometimes I swipe slowly but it still records without letting me put in the purpose of the trip. The primary is, I guess, is that if we can’t deduct business expenses, I am not sure why I would need to track.
  • Drive Tracking

Overall great app, however I would like to see an added feature to start/stop your drive for more accurate tracking. The app will sometimes group drives together and miss the actual end of a drive.
  • New invention?

  • Goo, but not great. My guess is I’ve driven about

    By 1/);((?)9'dtjjfv
My guess is I’ve driven about 6,500 - 7,000 miles more than what has been calculated through the app in 2018. That’s $3,500.00+. It bundles trips unnecessarily and outright misses several. I started using “EVERLANCE” tracker on the 3rd of January 2019 after continuing to use MIQ on the 1st & 2nd. Everlance is already about 155mi ahead of MIQ even though MIQ had a 2 day head start. That’s a $6,500.00 - $7,000.00 by the end of the year. Not chump change. I have the subscription so I use them both. I could turn off the auto feature and just start it with each trip but I could also just write it on a piece of paper too so..... ⭐️⭐️⭐️
  • Paid for the app in one use.

  • Easiest Way To Log Mileage

Super easy to record my mileage for my business and to hand over when filing my taxes.
  • Better than MileWiz

    By Dougw246
I used MileWiz for a few years. When I saw this was part of my Office 365 subscription, I decided to try it. MileIQ has better reporting and the web interface makes it nice for catching up on reporting. Very happy with it. Definitely switching from MileWiz.
