With "DetectsFever" you can measure your body temperature without thermometer, but only with your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. It states that the application to detect the heartbeat is not used the camera of the device. This app is based on a very simple principle and precisely: the heart rate increases with increasing body temperature, then measuring its beats is possible to have a reliable measurement of their body temperature. "DetectsFever" is very simple to use: just create the user profile entering your name, number of heartbeat and body temperature. IMPORTANT: To ensure maximum accuracy, the measurement should be carried out beats trying to keep the maximum relaxation for at least 30 seconds. The app still does not replace the thermometer as a diagnostic tool.

Pay 99 cents to count heart beats for a inaccurate temperature
  • Total BS

It requires you to count heartbeats??? As if you need an app for that. I wish I had a detectsfraud app before I bought this.

Boooo it only takes your pulse and does not take your temperature
  • Doesn't do what it says

    By Atwin1
This is a terrible app created by people who obviously don't speak English as their first language. All it does is make you take your own pulse, which anyone could do without this app. Don't waste your time!
  • Doesn't measure temp

    By BarkBark
I downloaded this app hoping it was somehow able to measure my temperature through the fingerprint scanner. However all it does is give you a 60 sec countdown so you can count your own pulse. You enter that number and somehow it guesses your temperate. It was completely wrong and inaccurate! I have a fever of 99.8 and it said I was 97.7 degrees. Waste of time.
  • So umm yeah

Ok so I downloaded the app and it doesn't work I entered "48" and it said warning valid and below it it said ok and it made me keep doing numbers let me just say it's a pretty stupid app
  • Useless

Guesses a temperature based on heart rate. I got 92 Fahrenheit - that seems unlikely.
