  • Takes Facebook info and is paid

Takes your Facebook information and when you give it to the app, then it tells you still need to pay to use it.
  • Reading for non-readers like myself

    By ashleyacroyoga
I’ve always had trouble reading, concentrating, and focusing for long periods of time. As a child, I had a tutor for reading! This app allows me to read with ease the meat and potatoes of a book I want to read. Thank you Blinkist 🙏🏼
  • Two negative thoughts

    By Quark Gluon Plasma
    1) I don’t want to sign up with these people using email or my Facebook account. If I like their service and they earn my trust, then maybe I will provide personal information. 2) The authors of the books they summarize are presumably not being compensated. Their business is fundamentally different from reviewing books, and it is exploitative.
  • Thumbs up

I love the Blinkist concept. The app has had some bugs in the past, but seems to have been ironed out. There are still missing tittles; hopefully the team is working on adding to the library.

    What could you really expect?

There is a constant crash when I’m trying to highlight something on IPhone X, please take your time to fix it.
  • Great service. Needs an archive function

    By Wade50
Absolutely love this app. With so many non-fiction books hitting the shelves every week, it’s hard to keep up. This service allows me to glean what I need from a book in about 15 minutes and move on. Or if I really like the ideas and want to learn more, I can just purchase the book later. Blinkist is a great way to sample the material at the very least. With that said, I would like to see the developers add some kind of archive function, so that I can save books that I liked and come back to them later, while keeping them separate from blinks I haven’t read yet.
  • NOT WORTH IT!!!!!

    By loza4229
Over priced and they lock you into a ridiculous annual subscription. Crap app and mediocre book summaries at best
  • Great Hack

    By Ralph@2.0
Most Nonfiction books start out as ideas written articles and then turn into long stories. Blinklist cuts out the stories and gives context in a third the time. Awesome
  • Love this App!

This has become one of my go-to apps. It enables me to efficiently get the key point nuggets out of personal development books without having to read 200 to 400 pages. This app is a life saver for those of us wanting to grow professionally while also handling all the other life responsibilities.
