  • Terrible

I paid 19.99 for credits and the fax never went to the destination. Emailed support and was told to try again. Tried and never went, asked for a refund and was ignored. STAY AWAY!
  • Didn't Work

Needed to send one page fax so I got this program. It said "Sending" with the spinning circle forever. I was able to download Snapfax and send the one page fax and get confirmation that it was sent while ifax is still spinning. Never confirmed the fax was sent so I'm uninstalling this program. Save some time and use snapfax instead.
  • Solved my problem but “credits” are BS

What it is: fax a la carte at reasonable prices if you need to SEND a fax. I’m allergic to the words fax and subscription in the same sentence. I need to send a fax, say, 3 times a year and that’s when this program comes in handy. And it’s cheaper than Office Depot. Only one thing kind of annoys me: the frequent updates, every 2 weeks at times. It shouldn’t even kind of annoy me but it does. Other than that it’s just as they say. As far as the price scheme goes, I have this to say. I don’t like neither bad math nor false advertising. When they say they charge $49.99 for 1650 credits (and each page “costs”8 credits) that results in you getting to send 206.25 faxes (1650 DIVIDED BY 8) credits translated into fax Ok, so 206.25 faxes according to what they say would cost $39.18 (206.25 faxes TIMES $0.19) They say a single page would cost $0.19 when in reality it costs $0.24. (that’s $49.99 you ACTUALLY pay DIVIDED BY 206.25 faxes), that is, dollar per fax In other words, the whole “credits” system serves no concrete purpose other than make the whole process murky and and easy to mask wrong numbers, intentionally or not. Am I wrong thinking this way? Numbers don’t lie, that I know for a fact. Again, the app works just fine, it’s the whole money thing that is kind of shady in my opinion.
  • Was workable but now useless.

I’ve been using this app for over four years. It was a little temperamental in it’s treatment of U.S. phone numbers (in-country) versus international but I'd always get it to work eventually. I actually came to like it's old-school skeuomorphic (past) interface because it was intuitive. But now it has just stopped working altogether. I've probably lost my most recent 99¢ but am glad I didn't buy anymore "credits". Newest version isn't woking either and uses less intuitive workflow and unnecessarily small windows.
  • If you really have to fax...

This has worked for me in the past. I last used it in 2015, it’s now 2018. I only use it when sending a fax is the only way possible to get something done, so when you’re dealing with a state agency. I was surprised with their changes- the minimum package is $10 to send a fax- you get credits and use credits to send a fax. It used to be a couple dollars. But now, after paying $10, I have a “lifetime” supply of credits that will probably expire after I die.

Don’t believe the “Unlimited Free for 7 days” clause. It’s a total misrepresentation. I tried to send a one page fax using just the template cover page. The app immediately demanded payment for the first month’s use. This app should be immediately removed from the Apple App Store - the introduction is false and misleading.
  • Does not work

    By Chort1
I sent an 8 page fax at 10:30am. At 4:12pm it was still sending with the little wheel spinning. Do not use if you have something important to send, the sofware does not work and there is NO SUPPORT.
  • stay far away from this app!

    By EddySFSU
I wish I could give this application 0 stars based on not only the poor user interface but also the deceptive and intentionally predatory tactics used by the app developer to lure people in with a “free 7 day trial” and with no clear or easily identifiable way to discontinue the service after you’ve signed up for the trial. I emplore anyone reading this review to avoid having to pay a $300 charge because their service team failed to respond to my request to cancel the service within the 7 day free trial period. By the way, feel free to check it out for yourself and see how truly “easy” it is to cancel the service, hint: you have to go through several emails and loopholes to even make contact with someone who can cancel the service for you.
  • Disaster

I’ve had this app for years and it always did what it needed to do. Now, for some reason, in attempting to overhaul the app, they are trying to push everyone into a subscription plan but have taken away all methods for buying credits ala carte. You can’t buy credits in the app, neither on Mac or iOS. I think they intend for the functionality to be there, but it doesn’t work. I spend very little time faxing, and something like this should just work. The last thing I need is to spend a half hour trying to figure out how to. buy credits, without any sort of support response. ps, the advertise 24/7/365 support - not my experience.
  • Not Free At All!!!

    By whitedevilair
The application advertises a free 7 day option - it comes with an automatic $25 renewal. If you just need to send a single fax - which was my use case - minimum credit buy in was $10. I would have been happy to pay $.50 or $.99 for a single fax … but not interested in a $10 fax or a $25 renewal bait and switch.
