  • stay far away from this app!

    By EddySFSU
I wish I could give this application 0 stars based on not only the poor user interface but also the deceptive and intentionally predatory tactics used by the app developer to lure people in with a “free 7 day trial” and with no clear or easily identifiable way to discontinue the service after you’ve signed up for the trial. I emplore anyone reading this review to avoid having to pay a $300 charge because their service team failed to respond to my request to cancel the service within the 7 day free trial period. By the way, feel free to check it out for yourself and see how truly “easy” it is to cancel the service, hint: you have to go through several emails and loopholes to even make contact with someone who can cancel the service for you.
  • Disaster

I’ve had this app for years and it always did what it needed to do. Now, for some reason, in attempting to overhaul the app, they are trying to push everyone into a subscription plan but have taken away all methods for buying credits ala carte. You can’t buy credits in the app, neither on Mac or iOS. I think they intend for the functionality to be there, but it doesn’t work. I spend very little time faxing, and something like this should just work. The last thing I need is to spend a half hour trying to figure out how to. buy credits, without any sort of support response. ps, the advertise 24/7/365 support - not my experience.
  • Not Free At All!!!

    By whitedevilair
The application advertises a free 7 day option - it comes with an automatic $25 renewal. If you just need to send a single fax - which was my use case - minimum credit buy in was $10. I would have been happy to pay $.50 or $.99 for a single fax … but not interested in a $10 fax or a $25 renewal bait and switch.
  • Convenient for occasional fax sending

    By Abu el Banat
These days I only send a fax about twice a year, and iFax is very convenient for that. It’s easy to buy a few credits occassionally and the interface is simple and intuitive. I haven’t tried the subscription model or fax number, so I cannot comment on those features.

I tired cancelling my subscription but the account settings can’t be access as stated in the app help section. They charge my bank account $184.01 when i did not even choose the 1 year subscription during the trial period. I don’t know even the three faxes i sent during the first day of the trial period went through. The app is not user friendly. I emailed the support ( contact) via email that i can’t access the user settings to cancel my subscription they charged on my bank account.
  • Laughable

I never need to fax anything, except for when I need to get forms sent to my children’s doctors office right away. Since it’s an hour each way there, I’d rather fax than have to drive there. After sending the fax, it just said “sending” for a half hour before I gave up hope and decided to try again. Then I got an error message saying I had used my fair use of the unlimited free trial and I would have to purchase credits or wait until the month was up. Seriously?! That is not unlimited. So the app doesn’t work, and then they want you to pay for more faxes that again won’t work.
  • Crappy product

Have several documents perpertually stuck in “sending” for months, contacting support—NO RESPONSE, but they were able to charge me for product :) Nifty I tried to remove the application, and reinstalled it…no difference Move along
  • Impossible to enter comments

    By cb116
No matter what I did I could not enter text in the comments section. I had to drag text into a box and then that meant I was faxing 2 pages when 1 would do. Then as I was trying to edit, the stupid thing sent the fax cover with no comments. So I had to go thru the entire maddening process again — and buy additional credits. It shouldn’t be this difficult! But when it’s an emergency, you do what you have to do — so I had to put up with your app. And pay additional money to get credits to send this important fax.
  • More of a headache than a solution

Unable to send a fax to a number that I verified it works
  • The app is great, the in app credis, not so much...

    By wayneworld20
I love the app, the UI is easy-easy. It hiccups sometimes with the in-app purchase- endless spinning wheel -I logged in then opened it from the app store, then it worked fine. BUT--- THEY NO LONGER OFFER THE $2.99 for 84 credits option- So, "Crowded Road" please remove it from this app preview examples -OR - better yet, bring something like it back. The options go from .99¢ for 15- really? It takes 8 credits per page - so you'll always have leftover credits and need to buy more - and that's fine, I don't even mind 41¢ a page. But how about it? That middle option was great. At one point I changed my mind from buying the $9.99 for 200 credit option. The app asks, "why?" And I said, "Too expensive." And the app asks, "Woud you like a 10% discount?" - or something similar, and I said, "Sure." I never saw the option for 10% pop-up. I only needed to fax 2 pages, so now I have 14 extra credits, enough for a-page-and-a-half. Sigh. Even with that oddity, the app works great and is super convenient when needed.
