  • They’re not trying

    By Turnzilla
Outdated, choppy, laggy , way worse than espn app. Won’t cast either. Why would anybody pay for gold when this doesn’t work?
  • App inconsistent

    By Art Culley
App crashes on a consistent basis. Video quality not nearly as good as ESPN app. Also, confusion between NBC Sports and NBC Sports Gold apps. There should only be one of app. Either charge a subscription for every premier league game or don’t charge at all. Having have two apps is ridiculous and further shows how it’s more important for cable companies to distribute commercials to you vice a quality product.
  • Unable to display on larger screen

    By @lex_p
I have no problems streaming from iPhone/tablet/computer. However, when I try to display from devices onto living room TV, only the audio is playing with no picture. It appears that commercials will display properly but when the premier league comes back from commercial break, the picture will not be displayed, only audio. I know this sounds petty, but I enjoy watching soccer from the comfort of my couch and not on a small phone screen.
  • Ridiculous

Arguably the worst App I’ve ever tried to use. It’s useless without the needed compatibility with other providers/services. Don’t waste your time trying to get your Direct TV service (for example) paired/approved to gain access to the content. This app belongs in the trash can.
  • All I ask is.....

I just want the app to not crash. Pretty simple. But it crashes every single time I watch. Cool, I'll get used to crashing, because that's what NBC provides. But when I open the app back up to get back to the game, it takes as half dozen tries to figure out where I was. Why? Because the timeline does not match the game clock. Go to 45:00, you're definitely not at half time. Cool, let me just try again. The worst problem of all....? Every single time I move the cursor, just trying to figure out where I was when your app crashed, I hate to watch 5 minutes of ads. Every... Single... Time. Ads are not the problem. Your crashing app, and wasting 20 minutes just getting back to where I was.... That is the problem. Who on Earth would allow this to remain? Is there anyone at NBC who would like their product to work properly? Or will you truly do anything to get more ad views, including leaving a broken app broken, and laughing all the way to the bank at us fools who continue to pay...? I'm frustrated and I'm certain it will never get better. It's been so long. Just disgusting. Edit: ...and let's talk about the abysmal Chromecast experience. Constantly goes out and freezes up the Chromecast. The app and the Chromecast have to be restarted regularly. Most of the time the only way to make the app let go is to open the Google home app and force it to disconnect. Awful. Truly awful. Paying customers deserve better. We're not against watching ads, if you'll just provide a product that isn't junk. You make it seem like a middle finger to cord cutters. That's what it really feels like. Edit 2: Android version works much better. Sack your iOS developer.
  • Come on nbc. Be better

I’m so over this app. I just want to watch my games but they don’t always show up even when I know they’re happening (especially on the Xbox). Then it doesn’t remember my log in info for even a few hours and is getting stuck in a commercial loop instead of letting me go live or picking the game back up at the proper time. Another reviewer said infuriating...I agree
  • Money grab

Why should I pay for this service? You have companies pay millions for commercial advertising on your programming. You’ve made it impossible to watch your content without paying for cable or streaming of some sort.
  • Way too many ads

    By waywaywaytoomanyads
The app works well functionally. I like that I am able to watch Premier League soccer replays. Today I wanted to watch the second half of Arsenal-Tottenham. When the content loaded I waited through 4-5 minutes of ads. I then fast forwarded to where I thought halftime would be. I then sat through 4-5 minutes of the same exact ads. I fast forwarded again and sat through the ads again. I don’t mind watching the ads once but I should not have to watch them every time I fast forward or rewind. I already pay $200+/month for cable so I believe that I should not have to watch ads at all. I am really hoping that something is wrong with the algorithm that determines when a user has to watch ads. If it’s just pure greed that would be really disappointing. By the way, 5 minutes of the game elapsed while I wrote this review. I tried to rewind and guess what??!! I had to sit through the same ads again😤
  • Consistently the Worst App I am Forced to Use

    By FConti11
I use this app when NBC shows a sport that I want to watch (Olympics, EPL, NFL, etc...) and 100% of the time, it doesn’t work. It doesn’t matter if it’s on my phone or my Apple TV. If I wanted to watch 10 seconds of a game at a time in between 4 minutes of frozen screen, this app would be great - 5 STARS! No other apps give me this issue, on the developer to improve and they clearly don’t care. At least it’s consistent. Thanks for nothing, NBC.
  • Terrible

App cuts to black often. Not worth trying to watch.
