What does BodBot do - and why does this matter? ■ Personalization matters. If you broke your leg this morning, you probably shouldn’t be attempting heavy squats at night. Similarly, if your sleep has cratered for the past week, or if you suddenly come down with a fever, the previous trajectory of your fitness - along with last week’s view of this week’s best training plan - becomes obsolete.     Great app for workouts tailored to your level, goals, and available equipment. Couple suggestions for added features on the scheduling part of the app: 1) I would like to see a more comprehensive calendar in the app. I’m new to the app but is seems that you need to check when your workouts are day-by-day-by-day. It would be nice to toggle between daily, weekly, and monthly calendar screens. 2) Also, it would be nice to be able to quickly add workouts to your google and/or apple calendar apps. All together this is a great app!!

    After using the “plan it for me” under schedule in settings for a week my workouts are over 3 hours long with about 30 stretches and 30 warmups

    Aside from the nutrition portion of the app that I could not figure out how to use, this app is put together in a somewhat easy to use fashion. That being said, in regards to the claim of being a pocket personal trainer, it is lacking. The idea of having people take a fitness test and then the app adapting the workouts according to the answers is a great idea. After playing around with app for a couple weeks, it seemed to always randomly pick exercise with no regard to either the seeds of the fitness test answers or the clever biometric tracking—which would be great for avoiding overtraining muscle groups. The app had me doing the same workouts on consecutive days at times for no reason at all. Ultimately, none of those unique features appeared to work correctly. After the app made me take my fitness tests and It said I failed on everything, it generated the same workout for me when I reported that I passed the fitness teats. I ended up doing my own research and changing workouts myself, rather than being able to trust any sort of comprehensive progression path that the app laid out due to the app’s randomness. There are complete free apps that do the same thing as this app in the areas that seem to actually be useful. So even though I wanted to love this app and trust it would be worth paying for, sadly it isnt.

    The free version is pretty good. The directions are clear and the exercises are appropriate. The motivational quotes attached to the workout reminders are a nice touch. I use the free version as a supplement to my workout days.

    This is the only workout routine I have stuck with. Been using it consistently for about 7 months now. Just at home with some dumbbells and I started seeing results quickly. Definition in my arms. I have my butt back. 😁 My legs are getting definition and my core is slimming down and toning up! Highly, highly recommend!!

    I love this app. It personalizes your workout based on your current strength, weaknesses and goals, with plenty of variety to keep things interesting. I see some opportunities for improvement, but I have yet to find a better workout app.

    Works out all the parts I always forget to do myself. Reminds me to stretch. Has helped me stick to working out better than any other workout program I have tried.
