  • Mindfulness meets practicality

    I had been trained in the theory of mindfulness and have even used it from time to time over the years. However, I never was able to make a consistent practice of it as well as I have been with this app. Headspace makes it easy for me to practice mindfulness daily and it has had a VERY positive effect on my life so far. The app has helped solidify what my previous mentors had been teaching me about mindfulness and has provided a good framework for daily practice of it. I am so grateful to have been introduced to this by family member. And I have been sharing it with other family members and friends as well. Grateful!

    You're really going to feel a lot better if you can stick to the lessons. It's taken me a few times so you just need to force it into your routine, but the more I use it the more I buy into the practice. That said, there's no way I can find to AirPlay this to the HomePod in my room (or presumably other speakers you may have) which is frustrating as you then seem to need headphones or play it out of the phone speaker which is tinny sounding (but at least it works on AirPods) I've tried making sure other audio apps are connected already but no dice and the app UI gives no standard audio controls that most apps provide. Really hope they can add this.

    I’m 14 and I have trouble going to sleep at night this really helps soooo much. I can get a full nights sleep and be ready to start my day in the morning I absolutely love this app and highly recommend it.

    School at my age is like a catalyst for other things making them much worse as the stress of schoolwork lingers atop everything. This is the first time i have ever actually meditated and i plan to use the app more continuously.
