Life App is migrating to Tyndale Bible App. After October 2018, we will no longer be able to support the Life App. THE GOOD NEWS…we have partnered with the premier Bible App Developer, Tecarta, to provide you with the highest quality Bible App experience using the Life Application Study Bible content. This transition to the new app is FREE. If you have created a user account in the Life App, install this update to migrate your data and purchases.

  • This app is NOT the one I originally purchased

    By Milzwilz
I bought this app because I loved the Life Application Bible and the ease with which I could find what I needed. With this latest update and change to the Tyndale app, I was prompted to repurchase what I had already bought (study guide and a different translation). Shouldn’t my purchases be restored? I relied heavily on this app for study, teaching, and writing. Now, I do not find this new app user friendly and would not recommend it to anyone. I would love to have the Life Application app back or my money returned.
  • Sad to see this app is gone

    By Pastor08
I enjoyed using this app and am sad to see it is now gone. The foot notes where very help when reading through the scripture.
  • I want my LASB back

    By Mayberrs place
Gave me no choice and took my previous Life App Study Bible and other translations and purchases away. Just like coming to my house and taking my library and switching it with one KJV cross ref bible. This kind of bait and switch should be illegal.
  • This isn’t right!

    By Jhunn220
I purchased it for $29 also, and it’s not fair to just give us anything...this is not what I paid the life application bible is still on here but it’s like for $19 dollars and looks like the awesome version I purchased some years ago...but it’s like I have no account with them...weird.
  • Life app

    By JACowl
I purchased Life App because I wanted that knowledge. My husband has a hard copy and I wanted to take my knowledge in my phone with me. Had I known my money would not have paid for the information I wanted I would have NOT paid for the app. Ridiculous. I NEVER waste money on apps the one time I do sure enough it gets changed on me. Very upset.
  • Missing chapters

    By marjeacar
I’m glad I only wasted $9.95 for the app, instead of $29.95 as some reviewers paid. There are chapters missing. Example when I search Psalms 125: 1 I get the messages “your search turned up no results“. I’ve clicked on the “heat map” button for study notes and no results. For this reason I give the app 1 Star.
  • AVOID THIS APP! Very buggy, non-existent customer service.

UPDATE: It has recently lost the ability to sync the Life App notes to the Bible passage which completely renders the app useless (try scrolling from Gen to 1st John). Added to a long list of problems this app has given me over the last two years, I have to warn any prospective users to stay away. I’m going back to my printed LASB. ******************** This is the first Bible app that feels right for me. I've always been a huge fan of Olive Tree's app but it lacked a really good study component. Now I have both Bible and a first class commentary together, all the time! It's a little wonky, the study notes don't perfectly sync to the Bible text but an occasional small finger swipe fixes that pretty quickly. And it lacks the deep customization that Olive Tree offers like providing lots of page texture and font colors. But mostly, I'd like: — the ability to define more highlighter colors (I'd replace one of the defaults—pink!—with red, for instance), — syncing of notes and highlighted passages across all devices, — ability to underline as a highlight option, — ability to highlight only a few words instead of the whole verse. UPDATE As time has passed, each update becomes more obtuse in its navigation and harder to work with. After years of use, this latest version will not let me access the Study section or download/restore it, advising me I have an invalid token. TERRIBLE UI and USER EXPERIENCE!!! UPDATE They removed the ability to highlight text and replaced it with a feature that allows you to save passages and their study notes in folders. Ugh. Terrible idea! Now you have folders of notes and passages that have no context around them truly a harebrained scheme. I still value the teaching in this Bible but have to use Olive Tree’s NKJV for my readings and notations/highlights.
  • Needs a UX designer

    By Lolxdost
I love the life application bible and tyndale's attempt to match the powerful platform in iPhone and ipad format. Unfortunately, the more recent updates only add complexity and forget the user experience all together. Currently, I CANNOT COPY AND PASTE (the most elementary function of any app), I’m asked about an expired token, and several other issues that used to be much more simple. I can't wait to use this app to its fullest capacity, but until then I will continue to use and recommend the popular FREE competitor "Bible"app.
  • Used to be good

    By Taffygirl77
This app is useless now. I keep getting "token expired" whatever that means. It won't let me highlight or anything. I really frustrated bc it was expensive and they've ruined it. I'm getting no response to emails. I'd stay away from the app until something changes and don't throw your money away.

    1. Find it frustrating to highlight selected bible verses completely to share : the highlighting is not user friendly. I lose some top or bottom lines. 2. The previous update gave way to read verses of one’s choice but this new update requires you to read the chapters to your desired verses. 3. When is audio of this great app coming off.
