I purchased this app looking for an easy way to search for the pH of various foods as I am on an alkaline diet. The app has foods categorize so that they can be easily found. It ranks foods as either highly alkaline or acidic, or slightly alkaline or acidic. It does not give specific pH values which would have been helpful. It also gives information for each food as to its appropriateness for other types of diet such as the Paleo diet. I am going to keep the app on my phone for a while and see how much I actually use it. I wish it gave specific pH is values.

Has Sauerkraut as both Acidic and Alkaline. Some blanks for common foods. You can find better info for free online.
  • Not Much Information

This app lacks even basic information about many vegetables. Really, just skip it. If you can’t find the pH of something as basic as Rappini, then, this app is not worth it. Lots of other missing info as well. Also, it doesn’t really give you the alkalizing info in terms of pH….just “slightly alkalizing”, etc. Really….skip it.

This app is just what I was looking for...a simple reference guide at my fingertips . I also added on Blood Type guide, but could not find it..emailed and got an answer straight away from Sabastian and found it! So easy, the add on is right there when you look up any food! Great easy reference, well done !

Good resource for food searches, but not much else. Not a very informative app.
  • Does what it says.

If you are lazy like me and want a handy database to check where food items fall for your specific Ph needs and want to save favorites or make shopping lists; this is a good APP. I only have a few references to check the accuracy of the data , but it seems to reflect what I've read elsewhere. For $1.99 I hope they increase the Database overtime. It also has paid add ons for blood type foods I haven't tried as I'm not interested/informed.
  • Satisfied.

This app does not correctly identify acid and alkaline forming foods, waste of money and time. I would not trust the info given here, you're better off printing out a list from the Internet!
