  • Essential translation tool with some amazing features, but…

I wish it supported sending text directly from other apps via the system sharing menu.

  • Not like the normal Google translate

So one function that I use very often on Google Translate is that middle button that switches the two languages. On the Google Translate app it doesn't copy the text over and translate it back to the original language. Instead, it leaves the original writing that I put in and tries to translate my original writing back into the language it already is in. If I wanted to use the online translator function, I would have to copy it and then paste it into the translate side and that is really tedious on mobile. Please fix.
  • Mostly wrong

Please don’t trust what is says. Look it up to confirm the translation. I’ve trusted everything it said til now.
  • Add keyboard translator feature

This is actually a good app for translating but if you add that feature it will be great

  • Translates text fine, but voice translation is 0% effective

If you want to type text in, this works pretty well (although I only tried a few simple test words). The handwriting feature also seems to work well, although I’m not sure why you wouldn’t just type instead. However, the voice and conversation features haven’t worked for even a single word yet. That was the only reason I downloaded the app. I used it with different tv shows, and maybe it’s because it’s not actual live speech, but I would think it should be able to pick up at least some of the words. I tried many shows and a few different languages, and it didn’t grab even a word correctly.
