  • Awful UX

NFL's Internet user experience (UX) is generally horrible. Its iOS app is no exception. (The tvOS is the worst.) I'd expect much better from an organization of such a scale like NFL. Let me know, NFL and I'll give you a list of problems.

The app updated yesterday and now it won't open. Usually I find this app useful, but what happened?
  • Terrible app

This is a huge disappointment! You would think with their billions they could develop a workable app. It crashes every time you try to watch videos or highlights, not to mention you are forced to watch a 30 second ad in between videos. What an embarrassment. They need to work on the stability. If they can do that I might redownload

Crashes on my phone and won't open on my iPad. I wish it would work because it has great content.
  • Just bad

The app malfunctions basically any time you watch a video. This app and NFL Gamepass are just terrible products. As bad as I want to watch film of games, I’m cancelling my Gamepass subscription after this season, it’s not worth the constant crashing mid-video.
  • Shows the Scores - Can’t turn off.

NFL seems to think that you don’t want to watch games just look at scores and highlight. I cannot find a way to turn off the scores which means that I basically get every game spoiled trying to find one to watch. Horrible design flaw.
  • Turn off subtitles

I like the app and all but for some reason the subtitles just won’t turn off while watching live games. It doesn’t matter if I turn it on then off in the main settings or tap the “CC” button while watching a game. I’ve even completely deleted then reinstalled the app. Fix this problem.
  • Used to be Better

It was a lot more user-friendly before the upgrades. Not happy with the changes. Now when watching games close captioning is always on the screen which is very distracting and makes it hard to watch. Still have not figured out how to turn it off.
  • Hasn't worked on iOS 9.3.5 since 10/23/18!

This app hasn't worked on iOS 9.3.5 since the version 53.1.7 update on 10/23/18. Two updates have occurred since then and it still doesn't work. The app crashes every time I try to open it. It doesn't get past the blue screen with the NFL logo. Very disappointing as the app worked well before this version update which was a forced update.
