This year’s festival —our eighteenth— takes place October 6-8, 2017, in New York City, and features an eclectic lineup of interviews, discussions, sneak previews, talks, walks, and live performances from the leading voices in film, fiction, politics, comedy, science, fashion, food, and more! Browse this year’s program, purchase tickets directly in the app, save your favorite events to create a custom itinerary, get important updates and information, and stay connected with our Festival social feed. ABOUT THE NEW YORKER The New Yorker, founded in 1925, publishes the best writers of its time and has received more National Magazine Awards than any other magazine, for its groundbreaking reporting, authoritative analysis, and creative inspiration. In 2016, it became the first magazine to be honored with the Pulitzer Prize for its writing, winning two awards that year.

Even though it's free, this app is not worth the time it takes to download. It won't fit the screen, so you have to scroll around constantly to see if there is more to the page than is visible at any one time. Go to the website for tix instead.

This app, developed by one of the most humorous magazines in the modern United States, is fine for anybody who wishes to learn more about the upcoming festival in New York. Obviously, however I still would enjoy an app for the actual magazine. It would be a pleasure to be able to read the articles, view the cartoons, and even be able to submit letters to the editor all on an app. I assume this wonder app fails to exist due to one single factor. The lack of a profit. Without this app that I have proposed the distributers of the magazines are able to charge money for every issue of their product on iTunes. Please produce The New Yorker app, as I plan to produce income for your company by continuing my subscription.
