Half the issues cost money for print subscribers when they should be free. No response from customer service.

As of now app gets a 1 star. No matter what I try and do to get digital access as a print subscriber it just brings up a blank white page. So far customer service has been zero help as well.

I am having the same issue as many. The links for print subscribers to sign into the digital edition do not work.

Despite what the advertising and the FAQ say, the digital access for print subscribers doesn't work. Just an endless loop of signing into your print account that does nothing.

Purchased via Apple Store. I have tried to no avail to sign in to the magazine. I have contacted the customer support for Popular Photography, the information they have provided is worthless and has failed to sign me in. Please refund my money!

After not being able to download new issues in this app, I realized by looking at emails from Popular Photography that they are using a new app. Of course, they never actually tell you that. I realized it by clicking on the apple icon at the bottom of the email, which prompted me to download Zinio instead. Works fine-was able to download missing issues.

Since things were changed from the Newstand on the iPad, I cannot access ANYTHING. I attempt to ask for a password recovery for the app, and PopPhoto says I don't exist. But, sure as hell, you took my money.
  • Frustrating subscription issues

Update: Downgraded from 4 stars to 1 star. I am a long-time paid subscriber, and I'm renewed for many months into the future. The app allows me to download issues older than six months for free, but for anything newer, it wants $4.99/issue. Is this intended? If so, it's kind of silly and a bad deal. Original review... "Old app must have been amazing" I'm a long-time print subscriber and just learned that the digital version is now included. I read the recent negative reviews of this app, but downloaded it anyway to check it out. I certainly get the annoyance and frustration about losing old issues, and I hope that's remedied. But the new app seems fine to me on my retina iPad. Sharp text. Good picture quality. So the old app must have been really amazing if it was visually better than this one. I'm giving 4 stars, since there's apparently room for improvement.
