  • Nowhere near accurate

    By MCK1981
The stars and other celestial bodies are nowhere near where the map says the are. While looking at the sky through app, the stars are at least a foot away from where they’re on the phone to where they’re in the sky. So much so that I can’t tell what I’m looking at unless it the moon, which is still a foot off center.

  • Great celestial map and ecyclopedia

Starmap gives me great access to celestial information and sites. I can look up anything and instantly see where things are and know about it as if i’m there in space. It always works and is easy to use.

A bad app with bad UI
  • Earned back Five Stars

Latest version fixed the tracking issue I had. Thanks. I think this app is an essential must have tool and telescope companion for a beginner amateur astronomer like me.

Back to five stars - Thanks for response development team - I was running iOS 10 and installed your recent update. That must have triggered a glitch on my end somehow. Reinstalled the app and finally updated to iOS 11 - sorry for my prior negative review - I was cranky - not your fault - lol. Love the app!!! I have recommended to several friends.
  • Crashes on iPad Pro 10.5

After your recent update it crashes during launching on my iPad Pro 10.5 running iOS 11.2. I have even deleted the app and installed again but it didn’t help. Please, fix it.
  • Problem

  • All over the place in the field

Can’t keep it locked into directional orientation from my physical prospective. Which, I can correct because I know Serbian star patterns but wow do i have to work at it..
  • Is it dependable?

By LC to Get It Right
One star may not be a fair rating after only limited use, but my concern is that the app is being “updated” constantly, since I downloaded it, to fix apparent “bug” issues. Thus, I have to question the dependability and accuracy of the app. Anyone’s input is welcome.
