I don’t like seeing what anyone in my Contacts pays/does on Venmo. I don’t understand the value to know who is paying who for what. Who really cares? Seems noisy and it’s annoying.
  • New pricing structure

New instant transfer fee is a deal breaker, too many other options out there to pay that much.
  • Not working

App takes forever to load and you all seem to be doing nothing about it. I have to wait an eternity to even see my balance. It’s been like this since the beginning and it’s only getting worse. Ball is in your court, Venmo.

I’ve had money in my account for 60 days bc someone I know was nice enough to help me out when I needed gas $ for work! But! I can’t get it off the Venmo account! And no gas stations take freaking Venmo. I hate Venmo! It won’t take any of my 10 debit account cards nor either of my bank accounts! So there the $ sits n I had to call off work bc I had no gas money!

I never prefer to accept payment via PayPal or Venmo, but I work with musicians, a lot of them foreign, and some insist on this for of transaction. Venmo for a minute was the simplest and least of all the evils. Charged .25 for instant transfer to bank. Easy peasy. They have now without warning strayed from this biz model and charge up to 1 percent now on every transfer. Venmo just got its last 10 bucks outta me. The 3 day transfer is still free, and I wasn’t in a rush to get my cash so I almost opted for that, but if you look at the reviews on the AppStore and also now around the web, there has been a HUGE spike in negative comments just in the last month as well as report after report of people telling the same story of Venmo freezing funds, reversing transfers, requesting timely snail mail I’d verifications all leading to no releasing of funds with no explanations. I think the 10$ charge is a move out of desperation by a sinking ship of a fail tech company. BEWARE. PULL YOUR MONEY NOW. I will never accept them as a form of payment again.

  • Best banking app out there...

Instant transfers are just that, instant (once debit card is verified). Fees are a fraction of other apps. I’ve referred tons of friends and will continue to do so. Thanks, Venmo!
