Description

Waking up made easy Sleep Cycle is an intelligent alarm clock that tracks your sleep patterns and wakes you up in light sleep - the natural way to wake up, feeling rested and energized. No need to place your device in bed - Sleep Cycles uses sound analysis sleep tracking. How it works • As you sleep, you go through different sleep phases, ranging from light to deep sleep and back again. The sleep phase you are in when your alarm goes off is critical for how rested you will feel when you wake up. • While you sleep, your movements vary depending on what sleep phase you are in. Sleep Cycle’s patented sound technology tracks your sleep patterns using sound or vibration analysis, monitoring your movements in bed throughout the different sleep phases. • Sleep Cycle finds the optimal time when you are in light sleep to wake you up in the morning, during a predefined 30 minute time window that ends at your set alarm time. Waking up in light sleep feels like waking up naturally without an alarm, leaving you feeling rested and energized. • All you need to do is turn Sleep Cycle on before going to bed, and place your device on your nightstand or close by on the floor. Continuously rated as the best smart alarm clock on the market. • Loved it - now hate it

I've been using it for years and have loved how user friendly it's been with various educational options regarding sleep. Unfortunately after updating it, they've decided that things which were free for years are suddenly "premium" and it's useless now. It really helped me fall asleep and gently wake up along with measurements of my sleep if I was curious, but now I've deleted it as they have cheated theirlong term customers.

Longtime user of this app and I loved it. Actually recommended it to several friends. Then I get prompted to update it for “bug fixes”. I was really disappointed to find that all the features that were free before are now part of the $30/yr subscription. Far too expensive. I’ll be looking for another app.

I set my alarm for 5:45am-6:00am. On some days, it randomly goes off at 4:30am for some reason and I can’t go back to sleep.

I need to wake up at 6:45 one day so that’s when I set it to wake me up (6:30-6:50) it decides to wake me up at 5:30! I couldn’t possibly fall back asleep because the alarm is so loud and it was such a big ordeal... but I was supposed to have a really fun day but I was so tired and this stupid app ruined it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely the best alarm clock app out there! It helps you wake up and feel refreshed!!!!! Plus, my brother is in the room with me and he says this has never woken him up before. One thing that would be funny is if you add a way for the app to detect that you sleep talking and to record it when you do!!! Would be HILARIOUS!

I updated my app recently to discover that my favorite features are now in the Premium category which costs $30 a year and used to be free. I guess that’s my punishment for being a long-time user. I’ll be finding a new sleep app.
