I just updated it and now I am not able to open it. As soon as I open it crashes itself. Useless update.

Recent updates make texts choppy and stuttery on iPhone 6s Plus, user interface stalls when performing simple sms messaging.
  • Much better than the formerly ruined BS

I’ve used and loved this app since its inception. It’s amazingly simple and useful. My only request would be to incorporate ’s voip features allowing it to be used as an alternative dialer on iOS. For example, “hey Siri, call (person) with google voice.” This is entirely possible with existing  iOS APIs with zero modifications. Skype has had this functionality for years on iOS. Please make it happen! Until then, I love GV enough to still give it ⍟⍟⍟⍟⍟!

Text messages from a few contacts no longer being received at GV # and started forwarding to my iPhone #. This despite text message forwarding option being disabled. Those contacts still receive my text messages sent from my GV # but I receive replies on my iPhone #. So annoying and confusing.

  • Google cares enough to update this within reasonable time periods

Stunned problems persist. It's problematic sending pictures. Won’t rewind and fast-forward through voicemails correctly. Instead of rewinding voicemails, Google Voice tries to drag the entire screen to the right. Fail. Sending pictures is unreliable. The Google Voice app will indicate the pictures sent in a text message just fine, only for you to learn that your recipient never got them. Voicemail had been working again, so I increased my rating to 4/5. The pics glitch makes it hard to recommend. At least the dev team seems to care enough to update it regularly.
