AN EASIER TRIP, EVERY TIME This isn’t your average travel app. Imagine checking one place for everything, and knowing about things before they happen. See why life without TripIt is a distant memory for millions of travelers. YOU HANDLE THE BOOKING, WE'LL TAKE IT FROM THERE Unlike other apps, it doesn’t matter where you book. TripIt can manage it all. As soon as you book a flight, hotel, car or other reservation, simply forward it to plans@tripit.com and we’ll instantly add plans to your master itinerary. ACCESS AND SHARE YOUR PLANS IN AN INSTANT No more frantically searching through your inbox for important details like when your flight gets in, or your confirmation number. Get to them instantly in TripIt, even when you’re offline. Plus, we make it easy to send travel plans to your calendar, or to anyone you choose. Manage all your plans for free with TripIt, or for about the price of checking your bags, upgrade to Tripit Pro to get stress-free travel all year long. When you upgrade, TripIt Pro will do all this for you (and more!): WHILE YOU'RE PLANNING YOUR TRIP • Help you find a better seat • Monitor for flight refunds • Remind you when to check in BEFORE YOU'RE OUT THE DOOR • Tell you when to leave for the airport • Send real-time flight alerts • Let you know how long the security lines are WHILE YOU'RE ON THE MOVE • Provide interactive airport and terminal maps • Send terminal and gate reminders • Tell you baggage claim info • Give you access to airport lounges with LoungeBuddy For more information, see the TripIt User Agreement (https://www.tripit.com/uhp/userAgreement) and Privacy Policy (https://www.tripit.com/uhp/privacyPolicy).

  • Free version is great; make a family flat fee version

Free version is great. I would love to go Pro but we don’t usually travel for work and I don’t like to subscribe to any apps that aren’t paid for by someone else. I wish the Pro was available for a flat fee, I would pay even 40$. I know subscriptions are how companies make $$ but this is a useful app for families and it would be nice to have that tier.
  • Reliable, but a bit too viral (and needy)

TripIt is a decent app and service. Neither the app nor the website is in any danger of winning UX or UI of The Year awards from… well, anyone, but it gets the job done. I have always been impressed with the service’s ability to parse and import flights, hotels, Airbnb bookings into your trip itineraries by forwarding confirmation emails, though there continue to be rough edges around some smaller carriers (and ferry bookings have never worked). I also appreciate that various other apps (like a number of packing list apps) integrate well with TripIt. It’s annoying that the app makes it difficult to share itinerary info without getting the email addresses of the recipients. I never liked the idea of feeding my friends’ and family’s email addresses to some company’s spam bots. But in this post-Facebook-shadow-contacts world, supporting a public share URL (like google docs or Evernote) is a no-brainer. I also wish someone would have a go at the data entry UX for itinerary items. It’s very functional, but outright cumbersome.

I can pick out a fake rating like a hound dog. Some of these on here were generated by tripit staff.
  • Killing me with flight review pop-up

No matter how many times I fill out and submit/dismiss a flight review that pops up, it reopens every time I check the app. Should be a way to opt-out

The basic version serves very well regular travelers. However, if you are a frequent or business travelers, you can’t go wrong by upgrading to the Pro version (with instant sms and push-in notifications), taking you into a new level of reliability and peace-of-mind.

I am still new to TripIt but so far I’m loving having all of my plane reservations in one app I don’t have to go to Delta I don’t have to go to Alaska I don’t have to go to Orbitz and all shows up in one app along with my data is all there my mileage numbers for all the airlines and my hotel reservations it’s very cool I don’t have to save it to a folder it gathers information straight from my email and populated it’s self

Super convenient app which keeps all your bookings in chronological order. Saved me from a big mistake also because I booked a hotel and forgot to change the date of my booking. when I imported into TripIt I noticed the chronology was wrong because of my booking error and I was able to resolve it without any financial loss, so thank you TripIt!

I enjoy TripIt it works great for keeping track of ALL of my travel. It has already paid for itself by alerting me to price changes that were lower than originally purchased. A simple call to the airline and you already paid for TripIt. My only complaint would be that there needs to be an Apple Watch complication. This is minor in the grand scheme. It tracks everything with TripIt Pro and 9 out of 10 times TripIt alerts me of gate changes or cancellations before the airline. You can even have it keep an eye out for a better seat if you don’t get the one you want when booking. A++++

This app does a great job of presenting trip details clearly and with hardly any work from me.
