  • It was a good app but no longer the case.

I began using this app and its maps were accurate and readable. When I go back to learn how I did the MapMyWalk maps are no longer readable. In fact they have me running/ walking in all directions. It’s a scrambled mess and their location is way off. I’m very disappointed and upset that I now can’t read these maps. Half, if not more of them are now unreadable. These records go back to 2013.
  • Keeps losing the workout

Unfortunately, it keeps deleting the route when I try to look at it in the app. I see some data and then it disappears, never to be seen again :(

I had no idea of the distance I was walking using time only and was pleasantly surprised that I was actually walking 1mile further than thought. Will there be an upgrade to include number of steps? Thank you Carole

    GPS does not always work.
  • Disappointed

    By dfwjr
I used this a couple of times and only once did it show me the distance I walked with a proper map. It just shows my time. My phone reception in my neighborhood is bad, just 1-2 bars, so maybe that’s the issue. I’m going to try one or two more times and if it doesn’t get better I’m deleting it.
  • Straight Garbage

This is the bad second review I’ve done of this app. First, it drops out making me lose hundreds of steps and at times miles, if I don’t check it constantly to make sure it’s still working. I almost always have to reboot it mid- workout to get credit for the rest of it. Second, due to glitches I have received inaccurate date losing credit for steps and calories burned. I can’t even describe how anomalous these glitches are but they happen often. Third, with this new up date routes that used to be counted as 3 miles are now counted as a mile less! I only continue to use this app because it feeds directly into My Fitness app which tracks my calories. I wish I could give MapMyWalk a lower rating or that the developers would fix the constant problems so I give it a higher rating.
  • It was wonderful then it completely stopped working.

I have deleted and re downloaded several times. Very sad I cannot chart my walks now.
  • Used to love it

Since your last update this ap doesn’t show the maps and don’t seem to work properly. Even after today’s update still doesn’t work. The map “feature” doesn’t appear to be working. All I get for Maps is a white screen. Are used to love this app now I’m not too thrilled with it it does me no good I may have to find a new app for walking.
  • Works most of the time!

    By Love my Ford
This is a good app that links with My Fitness Pal. It’ll automatically link, most of the time. Occasionally it doesn’t link or it’ll close out while in use, especially if you have other apps open or you’re on the phone. It eats up the battery on an older iPhone 6. All in all I found it useful and pretty accurate for mileage walked.
  • Works good but battery drain

    By SigmaDave_2000
The app functions very well. But apparently it keeps spinning GPS and using battery. According to my iPhone it was using 56% of the battery. And I have a dead phone two mornings in a row.
